The story has a lot of action, blood, gory, and battles. It's a mix of sci-fi with magic, runes and cultivation and there is a lot of lore from other cultures, like the Nord/Viking culture.

It has runes, wizards, shamans, mutations, genes, high technology, guns, spells, and abilities.

The MC doesn't get reincarnated, and the novel has a different approach to system, that is very subtle. So, if you don't like system or the typical tropes involving Isekai you are on the right book.

Btw: People said the battle scenes and war scenes are awesome.

The Last Warlock

Seeing the guy pass out, Mack extended his hand to the right, and a chair came for him.

Mack grabbed the chair and seated.

Meanwhile, outside the range of the domain runespell, a crowd of hundreds of people surrounded the area, while cops tried to keep everything safe and ordered until the military came to control the situation.

All flights of the airport got canceled and to turn things more crazy, a red glow surrounded the airport in the format of a dome.

People tried to get close to see what was happening and some unlucky ones actually tried to touch the glow, only to get stuck there, unable to leave.

Mack knew that more and more people were getting anxious outside, but he could not care less about them.

A few minutes later, the scar faced man opened his eyes, and just like someone that can't believe his own reality, he screamed in panic again.

"No! No! It's just a dream. I'm dreaming."
