The story has a lot of action, blood, gory, and battles. It's a mix of sci-fi with magic, runes and cultivation and there is a lot of lore from other cultures, like the Nord/Viking culture.

It has runes, wizards, shamans, mutations, genes, high technology, guns, spells, and abilities.

The MC doesn't get reincarnated, and the novel has a different approach to system, that is very subtle. So, if you don't like system or the typical tropes involving Isekai you are on the right book.

Btw: People said the battle scenes and war scenes are awesome.

The Last Warlock

After Mack left the burly man behind, he followed the same unpaved 'road' until he reached a small city. At first, he could not believe there were other cities inside the tower, but thinking again, it made sense, because not everyone would pay the exorbitant prices in the facilities building.

The city was not very far from the facilities building, but it was also too much to call it a city, as it was basically a street with a few wood buildings around, 'Feels like I'm back to Kirakira' thought Mack, while slowly driving his automag through the single street.

Driving past a few buildings Mack saw a stall selling a few things and stopped to take a look, "Do you have any maps?" asked Mack, because until now, he was basically driving along the 'road' that went west but he knew his luck would eventually run out.

"10 EC," said the fat merchant, not even bothering to look at Mack.
