Prologue

Aaron rang the door bell and waited for someone to respond. And shortly after, his friend, Evandor, opened the door looking smug. His face brightened at the sight of his friend. "Hey, Aaron." He greeted and stretched his hand out for a handshake.

Aaron took his friends hand firmly in his. "Evan." He responded with a smile "Can I come in?"

"Sure." He said and made space at the door for him to enter.

Once they were inside, Evan went get a bottle of wine and a cup for his friend and one for himself. "So what's up, how's your Gwen?"

"She's okay. Just pre-wedding jitters that's all." He said with a small smile as he poured some wine for himself into a cup. Are you still seeing your Gwen?" He asked back.

Evans's lips split into a wide grin. "She's doing great and I'm going to propose soon." He took a gulp from the drink he poured himself. "It's still shocking that we have girls that bear the same name. Is it mere coincidence?"

Aaron and Evan had fallen in love with two women who bore the same name with each other and Aaron had ruled it off to be mere coincidence. He was sure his Gwen wasn't a two-timer since he had met Evan's Gwen and they were two different people.

"Evan for the umpteenth time, they are from the place. They're Greeks so them bearing the same name is nothing. It isn't some dumb sign or something. Give it a rest. It's coincidence." Aaron said and comfortable silence drifted between them. "Evan, my two companies have been endorsed and I don't think I can handle being an active CEO for the both so I need your help."

"Okay, what do I do?"

"Next week Wednesday, I have a meeting with Johnson & Johnson for the cosmetic company and at the same time I have a meeting with Residence Inn and I can't be at both places at the same time so I need you to stand in for me at the cosmetics company. My personal secretary will give you the details of the meeting."

"Okay anything else?"

"You'll figure out the rest on your own. Will you do it?"

"For me to have asked anything else that means I'm in, dweeb." Evan said and playfully slapped Aaron's back.

"Thanks man."

Evan got the meeting details from Aaron's secretary. J&J was going to help promote the company's latest product. He had readied his speech and even stood in-front of a mirror to try it out. He was very anxious as this was the first business meeting. He worked at a gaming company so meetings like this were way above his league. He called his Gwen to tell her about the latest development and she replied saying that it was a brilliant idea and she loved him even more for helping a friend in need. He took a few days off on account of an unreal sickness. And finally when the day came, he went for the meeting and it was easier than he had thought. The secretary did most of the talking and he only had to pipe in a few times. They had agreed to promote the product and handed a set of documents to him to sign. He was taken aback and the secretary told him to go ahead with it. And he did it.

After the meeting, he drove to Aaron's house.

"How did it go?" Aaron asked. He poured his friend a glass of whiskey.

"It went well. Easier than I expected. There's a problem though."

"Whatever is the matter?" Aaron asked.

"I signed some documents that were meant for you." He asked with worry in his voice.

"Oh, the document signing. That skipped my mind. Anyways I have a proposal for you."
