No Peace

Jinwoon's eyes grew wide. This was the first time that he had been kissed. Usually he was the one who would ask and more than often he was refused by his ex's. His love life was a slew of girls using him to get others jealous.

The worst ones were the 'relationships' whereby he discovered that he was the only one in that 'relationship'. He had to admit that being with Sung Hoon didn't feel real until Sung Hoon's words and the kiss. His mind and heart were discombobulated. He felt his whole body heat up.

He pushed Sung Hoon away when he felt Sung Hoon's tongue brush against his lower lip. "W… We…" He looked around and saw the tailor looking at him with big eyes. Sung Hoon laughed when he saw Jinwoon's shy face. "Do you forgive me?"

Jinwoon looked down at his feet. He was waiting for his heart and mind to calm down. "I… Y… Yes." Sung Hoon had a bright smile on his face. "Do you like the dress?" Jinwoon nodded again. Still not looking at Sung Hoon.

The tailor who was locked in place finally broke out of his daze. "Princess Jinwoon. Would you like to try it on?" Jinwoon looked at the tailor. "Y…Can I?" The tailor took the dress of the hook and gave it to Jinwoon. "Call me if you need my help." The tailor pointed to the back with curtains.

Jinwoon went over and pulled the curtains back. There was a changing room with soft pouf and a large full length mirror. Jinwoon was again shocked by his new appearance. He admired his face and now body for a few seconds before finally getting dressed.

It didn't take long before he got the clothes on. The clothes were like a second skin. The fabric was soft and airy. He looked at himself again and a big smile was plastered on his face. 'I do look amazing'

He turned around and opened the curtains. Sung Hoon, who was sitting down, stood up with his mouth wide open. "H… How do I look?" It was a silly question because Sung Hoon's face said it all. "You… A… Amazing." Sung Hoon looked him up and down.

"I'm glad I listen to you." He mumbled but they all heard him. Jinwoon turned red again. Sung Hoon's thoughts were written all over his face and even a fool could see what he was thinking. "You should thank the tailor." Jinwoon looked away.

The tailor walked over and walked around Jinwoon. "It's not too loose? Not too tight? Lift your arms. Can you bend down for me?" The tailor asked him all kinds of questions and motions. Jinwoon did everything he asked. "It fits perfectly. I really love it." The tailor looked extremely happy.

"You don't want me to change anything?" Jinwoon shook his head before looking at Sung Hoon, who also shook his head. "It's perfect." They said at the same time. The tailor's smile grew even bigger. "I'm glad to hear that. You can take it off now."

Jinwoon nodded and went back to the changing room. After changing back he returned with the pantsuit draped over his arm. "I want to make some small adjustments. I'll deliver the dress tomorrow."

Sung Hoon and Jinwoon bowed and left. The tailor walked with them and waited until they left. He rushed back inside and jumped up and down. "Oh My Gods! That was too cute! I can't believe that I witnessed that!!" He sat down breathless with a big smile before turning gloomy. "Where is my prince?"

When Sung Hoon and Jinwoon reached the carriage, Sung Hoon took Jinwoon's hand and helped him inside. Jinwoon's cheeks turned red but didn't reject Sung Hoon. 'Get yourself together!' Jinwoon reprimanded himself.

He could believe that after one kiss, he turned into a blushing 'bride-to-be'. Jinwoon peered at Sung Hoon but quickly looked away when their eyes met. Sung Hoon couldn't stop smiling at Jinwoon's shy act. 'He's even cuter than before.'

When they arrived back at Sung hoon's residence Ki Ha was waiting for them. His face looked ugly but when he saw Sung Hoon holding Jinwoon, a small smile crossed his face. "We have a major problem." He didn't wait for them to enter the room.

Sung Hoon and Jinwoon frowned. "What happened?" Sung Hoon gently pulled Jinwoon and together they entered the house. Ki Ha followed them inside. "The Queen..." Sung Hoon moaned before Ki Ha could say anything else.

Ki Ha scoffed. "My sentiments exactly. When I finish, you'll be crying." They moved to Sung Hoon's study instead of the receiving room. Ki Ha started to explain again when they were all seated.

"I think the Queen has lost her marbles. She wants to hold a second princess selection." Sung Hoon and Jinwoon both looked confused. Ki Ha held his hand up. "She now wants to introduce the females of the ministers." Ki Ha rolled his eyes.

"She called everybody together while you and Jinwoon were at the tailor's. Well the ministers were not having it. They told her that the crowning and wedding are in four days. They didn't want to change it."

"I think the queen thought that if she said that she is willing to be in-laws with the ministers, they would agree. But she messed up by asking the girls from the other countries first. Nobody wants to be the third choice. Not one minister agreed."

"We should be very careful from now on. She is desperately trying to get her way and failing badly. She might use drastic measures starting from now." Ki Ha looked at both Sung Hoon and Jinwoon. Sung Hoon leaned back with a deep sight.

He should be worried but he just noticed that Jinwoon was still holding his hand. He couldn't believe that they hadn't noticed this. It felt like it had always been like this. "Sung Hoon?" Sung Hoon looked up.

"Why are you smiling?" Sung Hoon gave Ki Ha a silly smile. "I'm just thinking?" Ki Ha glared at him. "Right. I'm leaving. I think I'm the only one here who thinks that this is a headache." Ki Ha stood up and walked out. He didn't even look back.

Sung Hoon looked at Jinwoon to see that the other was also staring at their intertwined fingers. "Is it uncomfortable?" Jinwoon couldn't look at Sung Hoon's face. "It feel... nice." Sung Hoon hummed in agreement.

"Ki Ha is right, we need to be careful and we really need to do something about the Queen." Jinwoon finally turned to Sung Hoon. "You're right. We need to find a way to get rid of it. If she stays we're going to have to fight here every day."

"We need to do something that will make the whole court want to have her gone." Sung Hoon was scratching his chin. Jinwoon nodded. "We should create a trap. If we can make her confess something that will get rid of her, we should do that."

Jinwoon didn't know the queen, so he had no idea if she had done anything worse than sending those fake letters to the girls. "Can you think of anything?" Sung Hoon shook his head. "Don't worry if we push her buttons , I'm sure she'll blow and spill something bad enough."

Jinwoon didn't know if it would work. "You think that will really help?" Sung Hoon had a smirk on his face. "I'm sure. The queen used to rely on the Queen Dowager. The queen has little to no patience."

"But during the selection she kept her mouth closed..." Jinwoon had a lot of doubts but Sung Hoon still looked confident. "That was because the ministers and the royal girls were there. If it's just used, she'll not hold back her anger. Remember how she got angry the last time she was here?"

Jinwoon nodded. "Still." Sung Hoon gently squeezed his hand. "Trust me. I'll get her to incriminate herself." Jinwoon bit his lower lip but decided to let Sung Hoon handle it. "Do we do it before or after the wedding?" "I think after the wedding. We can do it before the banquet. We can tell the queen that the guests are coming later."

"She loves to make others wait but hates to wait herself. This will make her already angry. I'll egg her on until she blows." Sung Hoon looked determinant. Getting the queen out of the way will mean peace for not only himself but also for Jinwoon.

"Are you hungry?" Sung Hoon didn't want to think about the queen anymore. Now that Jinwoon had forgiven him, he wanted to spend all his time with Jinwoon. Jinwoon nodded. "Then let's have dinner."

Together they went down stairs. Before he could even go to the kitchen the door opened and Binna and Hara brought the dishes out. Sung Hoon brows went up but he didn't say a word. The dinner was nice and Sung Hoon was happy to see Jinwoon smile at him.

The next day the tailor came with the pantsuit. "Three days left." Sung Hoon said while looking at the outfits. The tailor had also brought Sung Hoon's wedding gown. It was elaborate as Jinwoon's but it paled in comparison with Jinwoon's but Sung Hoon didn't care.

The rest of the three days was spent learning about the wedding and crowning etiquettes.
