The Evil Queen II

Jinwoon was panicking. A few hours ago a palanquin had picked him up to bring him to the ceremony room but he soon noticed that it was going the wrong way. He had tried to open the door but noticed that it was locked.

He had tried to open the window but that was shut too. He had tried to use force, he had screamed until he got sore but nothing had worked. There was also the unnerving sensation of moving at a high speed.

After what felt like a lifetime but also a few minutes, the palanquin suddenly stopped. A few minutes later the door was flung open and Jinwoon was pulled out of the palanquin. He squinted when his eyes were hit by a glaring sun.

He looked around and all he could see was unfamiliar trees and mountains. The person who had pulled him out pushed him towards a mansion. "Wh... Where am I?" Instead of receiving an answer, Jinwoon got pushed harder.

"Stop pushing and just tell me where I need to be." Jinwoon turned and pushed the person back. The persoon brow went up. He hadn't expected Jinwoon to be not afraid of them. "Get inside." He pointed at the house and waited for Jinwoon to start moving again.

Jinwoon frowned. He had no idea where he was. It would be stupid to make a run for it. If he could discover where they had taken him, he might be able to make a plan. "Why... Who are you?" Jinwoon looked at the four men surrounding him.

He was led inside and to a small room. Before he could ask anymore questions, the four turned around and left. Jinwoon looked around and let out a deep sigh. The windows were at the top of the wall and two small for him to pass.

The door was locked and he was sure that there would be at least two men waiting. He grabbed the only chair in the room and placed it under the window. He looked outside and saw that the house might be built near a cliff.

'Escaping through the window is out of the question.' Jinwoon stepped off the chair and sat down with a frustrated look on his face. He decided to look around the room to see if there might be a way out or a clue as to where he was.

He combed the whole room with zero results. He went back to the room and sat down with an angry sigh. He was sure that the queen was behind this. He just didn't understand why she was going this far.

He was lost in thoughts when the door was pushed open. "Come with me." The same guy was standing in the opening. Jinwoon glared at him but he got up and followed the man to another room.

Jinwoon saw that this was an exact replica of the throne room. He looked confused when he saw not the queen but a young boy sitting on the throne. "Princess Jinwoon! Nice to meet you. The queen is on her way. She asked me to keep you company."

Jinwoon looked at the boy with confusion. "You are?" The boy's smile fell. "That's right not a lot of people know that the king had two sons." Jinwoon's eyes grew big. The boy scoffed. "Let me introduce myself."

The boy stood up. "My name is Sung Joon. The first born." Jinwoon looked confused. "Everybody thinks Sung Hoon is first born but that is not true. I have been ill since birth and had to stay here but I'm the lawfull hair to the throne not Sung Hoon.

Jinwoon looked confused. It didn't add up. This Sung Joon was at least five years younger than Sung Hoon. "How old are you?" Sung Joon glared at Jinwoon. "I'm seventeen." Jinwoon blinked with surprise. "But Sung Hoon is older than you. He's twenty-three if I'm not correct."

Sung Joon turned red. "That doesn't matter! The king had me with the queen. That makes me the first heir." Jinwoon massaged his temple. Talking to these kids was giving him a headache. "But Sung Hoon's father was also the king's mate."

Sung Joon scowled. "A mate! HA!  He no It was Inter...  I can even say it. It wasn't fit to rule next to the king." Jinwoon stared at Sung Joon. "So what you're saying is that Sung Hoon can't be the first born because his birth parent was a man?"

Sung Joon gave Jinwoon an arrogant nod. Jinwoon looked at Sung Joon with contemptment. "I'm sorry to say this but you look nothing like Sung Hoon. If you were supposed to be half brothers, you should have at least something of Sung Hoon."

Sung Joon glared at Jinwoon. "Sung Hoon is inferior. That's why we don't look alike." Jinwoon scoffed at the boy. "I've seen drawings and such of the late king. You look nothing like him." Sung Joon stood up and rushed towards Jinwoon.

"My Prince! You'll hurt yourself." Jinwoon turned to see the queen walking in. "Don't worry. I'll make sure to punish her later." The queen walked over and took Sung Joon's hand. The two of them walked back to the throne.

"But Mommy, she was saying bad stuff about me." Jinwoon's mouth fell open. 'A brainwashed mama's boy.' The queen made Sung Joon sit down before gently stroking his head. "I know. I know." Jinwoon couldn't hide the disgust from his face.

He turned and met the eyes of one of the guards standing at the door. He also had a disgusted look on his face. 'Could he be my ticket out of here?' He was hoping that that guard would be able to help him. "Why do you have your back towards the future king!"

Jinwoon turned back at the queen's question. "I asked you a question." Jinwoon crossed his arms. He might have been scared of the woman the first time they met but now he found her innoying and sad. "I like to refrain from answering that question."

Sung Joon and the queen looked shocked. "What!" Jinwoon didn't reply. "See! She has been like this the whole time." Jinwoon's face turned dark when he heard Sung Joon's whining voice. "And that wants to be king. What a joke." Jinwoon under his breath.

Since the room was silent everybody heard it. "What did you say! You isolant low life" The queen rushed towards Jinwoon. "Did I say that out loud? My mistake." The queen lifted her hand up to slap him but he grabbed her hand before giving her a hard push.

The queen landed on her back. His face turned red with anger "Take her away! I want her punished." Jinwoon heard the guards rush towards him. He turned and lifted his hand up. "Just show me the way."

Jinwoon and the guards walked out the throne room while the queen was yelling and screaming. The guards took him back to the room. "You know the Prince is on his way to save me. You know what will happen when he gets here."

Jinwoon looked at the guards. "Do you really want to die for someone like that?" The guards didn't say a word. "Are you in love with the queen?" The guards stoppened in their tracks and gave Jinwoon a dumbfounded look.

Jinwoon shrugged. "I mean. She and her son are delusional. You all can see that. The only logical answer is that you're in love with her." The guards looked horrified. "Stop your nonsense. None of us are in love with her."

"Then is one of you the father of the boy?" The guard's face turned dark. "Shut your mouth and get inside." Jinwoon looked unconvinced. "Why are you still helping her then? You all seem like a royal guard." None answered.

The guard next to Jinwoon lost his cool. "Get inside, while I'm still asking nicely." Jinwoon shrugged and entered the door. "It just seems weird. Why risk your life?" The four guards looked at Jinwoon before the door slammed in his face.

"I think I went too far." He walked back to the chair and sat down. Now all he could do was wait. The room slowly turned dark. Jinwoon became worried. He had thought that Sung Hoon would have found him by now.

He was doing his best not to panic. He walked to the door. "Hello! I need to go to the bathroom!" "There is a chamberpot in the corner." He turned and saw the pot. 'You must be joking!' "What about food? Are you going to starve me?'

There was no reply back. He let out a deep sigh and walked back to the chair. Some time later the door was opened and a guard walked in with something that looked like bread and soup. It smelled horrid. The guard also brought a glowing jar.

"You want me to eat that?" Jinwoon stared at the guard. "Just eat it." Jinwoon glared at him. "You eat it!" The guard glared back at him before taking the food away. Jinwoon sat down in despair. "It seems like I'm stuck here."
