Late Start

Jinwoon felt like his head was about to explode. The amount of information rushing through his brain was overwhelming. He cursed Tae Jinwoon for doing this to him. 'That b*,I'm sure he could have done it less painful.'

Information about space travel, the beings on the other planet and the change of the planet rushed past. Jinwoon had been transported to a planet called Yangge, it is situated in the galaxy GN-z11. It was the galaxy that was the farthest away from Earth.

Without Zuoane knowing, he had also accidentally given Jinwoon information about the game. Jinwoon now knew that all the planets in the GN-z11 galaxy were part of an intergalactic game and all the inhabitants of the planets were just pawns to 'the players'.

Compared to the Earth games, all the players could do was enhance the planet. Jinwoon knew that Tae Jinwoon was accelerating Yangge into the space voyage era. The inhabitants had no idea that they were being played with.

With each leap or major change, the inhabitant would automatically jump too, not remembering anything. Jinwoon was wondering why the game came to be and what the end result was but all he discovered was the rebirth prize.

Jinwoon also discovered that he was one of many humans that Tae Jinwoon and the other players used to conquer the other planets or realms like the gamers called it. What happened to the humans that the beings used was unknown.

With each win, the player would receive extra bonus and boosts.According to the information the storyline was never the same and the characters would change over time but the intention was always the same: Conquering other planets and moving up the leaderboard.

After what felt like years, the pain slowly subsided and Jinwoon slowly opened his eyes. Sung Hoon and Young were standing over him with concerned looks on their faces. "How are you feeling?" Sung Hoon gently rubbed his head.

Jinwoon nearly choked up. He was wondering how many times Sung Hoon had to face all these changes. He remembered that Tae Jinwoon had lost many games. 'How often has Sung Hoon and this planet been conquered or destroyed?'

His eyes grew big. 'How many partners has Sung Hoon had before me!' Sung Hoon saw the many emotions cross Jinwoon's face. "What is wrong? What happened?" Jinwoon shook his head. "Just tired." He hadn't seen Sung Hoon once in the information.

Sung Hoon didn't believe Jinwoon but he didn't want to push him. "How long was I out for?" Young was looking at his tablet. "You were out for a week. We got really worried but I can't see anything wrong with you."

He looked up and gave Jinwoon a knowing look. Jinwoon blinked before he recalled Young telling him about adapting to this plan. "I don't think this will happen again." Jinwoon couldn't feel relieved. He was sure that Tae Jinwoon would pump him with more information.

There was a knock on the door. The three of them looked at the door but it stayed closed. "For god sake just come in." Sung Hoon glared at the closed door. A few seconds later the door finally opened to reveal Sung Joon.

Jinwoon blinked a few times. "Who..." Young and Sung Hoon turned to look at him. "What do you mean? This is Sung Joon!?" Jinwoon couldn't believe it. The boy from a few days ago was now the same age as them.

Young grabbed his tablet again. "I didn't find any memory loss... What is going on." Jinwoon was also shocked. He was scared to think what had changed. He was a bad actor! 'That b*. He had only shown me historical changes! What should I do!'

"He was in a coma for a week. To come out without any complications would be a miracle." Young mumbles, still tapping his tablet. "Take it easier for now. Your memories might come back. I'm not too worried. You shouldn't be too worried."

He smiled at Jinwoon and the others before turning to leave. "If there are any chances, call me." He didn't wait for a reply and left. Jinwoon was left with Sung Hoon and the adult Sung Joon. Jinwoon couldn't keep his eyes off Sung Joon.

He didn't know but his actions made Sung Hoon jaloers. "I'm going to get you something to drink." Sung Hoon stood up but Jinwoon grabbed his hand. "Stay, I'm not hungry." Jinwoon didn't want to be left alone with grown Sung Joon just yet.

Sung Hoon kept his face straight but secretly he was extremely happy with Jinwoon's reaction. "Uhm... Are you sure?" Jinwoon turned to him. "Yes. Stay." "I'm very glad you've woken up." Sung Joon smiled at Jinwoon.

"Brother has been in the right state." Sung Hoon glared at Sung Joon but the other just ignored him. "He has spent all his free time here, we had to force him to eat and everything. If you had stayed in a coma longer, I don't think our country would last longer."

Sung Hoon rolled his eyes. "Stop overreacting. Don't listen to him. I was worried but I didn't neglect my country and myself." Jinwoon gazed at Sung Hoon and saw that Sung Joon wasn't lying. The always neat looking prince now looked haggard.

His black, golden hair looked unkempt and greasy. He had deep circles under his eyes making his amber eyes look sunken. It also seemed as if he had lost a lot of weight. "Sung Joon? How long hasn't he eaten?"

Sung Hoon's eyes were shooting Sung Joon daggers. "He only has two or three bites." Sung Joon knew that Sung Hoon would get back at him but he didn't really care. He had been scared that Sung Hoon would collapse.

"If my Brother-in-law is not hungry then I'll get my brother some food." Sung Joon quickly left the room. It took Jinwoon a few seconds before Sung Joon's words hit him. 'He knew that I'm a man?! I really need to know what happened!'

"Sung Hoon... I'm really sorry to ask you this but, there are too many blanks in my memories. Can you help me?" Sung Hoon looked worried. "What do you not remember? Just ask anything!" Jinwoon didn't even know where to begin.

"D... Does everybody know that I'm a man?" Sung Hoon smiled. "Yes. We told them two months after getting married. The ministers were surprised but when we told them that you were Intersex, they didn't protest." Jinwoon rubbed his head.

"I'm sorry. I really don't remember." Sung Hoon held his hand before giving it a kiss. "Don't worry. All you have to do is ask and I'll tell you everything. You don't have to feel bad. I'm just glad that you're awake."

Sung Joon quickly returned with food. He had even brought Jinwoon some light soup. The three of them while Sung Joon and Sung Hoon told him about what he had 'forgotten'. Luckily it wasn't earth shattering.

Sung Hoon was still the King of Namgyeong but there was no absolute monarch like before. Sung Hoon still had a lot to do but less than before. Jinwoon's tasks had also changed. He was now the head of The Space Division.

He and a group of scientists were responsible for civilian space programs, aeronautics and space research. According to Sung Joon and Sung Hoon, he was part of many groundbreaking space projects. All Jinwoon could do was listen and curse at Tae Jinwoon.

After dinner, Sung Joon left with the dishes. He told them that he'll return tomorrow. Jinwoon was feeling overwhelmed. There was so much he knew but they were all useless to him. What he needed was to know what Tae Jinwoon had changed in his direct environment.

He felt like he had to start all over again. There were just too many changes and he hadn't even been outside! He was wondering how long he would need to become accustomed to everything again.

'Tae Jinwoon should hope that I never see him again.' Luckily he could use the amnesia fib but he felt like Tae Jinwoon had thrown him to the wolves again! "What's wrong?" Sung Hoon pulled him out of his anger.

"Nothing. I'm just angry that I can't remember so much." Sung Hoon gave him a pained look. "I wish I could help you to recover." Jinwoon smiled. "Just being here is enough." Sung Hoon bit his lip before leaning closer.

"Can I have a kiss?" Jinwoon scrunched his face. "After you clean up. I'm sorry... but you look awful." Sung Hoon pouted but left for the bathroom without complaining. He returned looking less haggard.

When he saw Jinwoon asleep he hesitated, he wanted to wake him up, scared that it was all a dream. But when Jinwoon turned to his side to sleep, a soft smile appeared on his face. He quietly got into bed next to him. He wrapped his arms around him. "Good night, my love."
