Chapter 47: Arson

I ran and ran and ran. I feel like my mind is somewhere up in the air because my mind feels so spacious, almost empty. I can't think.

I just ran across the forest, out from the ghost village.

I wasn't even in my right mind when I called a taxi.

I'm shaking my feet out of worry, of fear, of nervousness.

I wanted to get there as fast as I could.

The ride felt torturously long. When I arrived, I stepped out of the taxi after paying. I didn't even bother asking for the change.

And I breathed in relief when I saw the building was still in one piece. Meaning Team 3 is still not done.

I'm almost running to the entrance.

Then I looked down at what I was wearing.

I cannot go in there with this. Neuron will recognize me.

I looked around. Then I saw the security guard wearing his security cap and security jacket.

I went near him.

"Can I borrow your jacket for a minute?"

"What?"
