I nodded my head at him. I quickly tried to regain my composure.

"Why did you bring me here? Do you have anything to say to me?"

He opened his mouth but he wasn't able to say anything. It's as if he forgot the actual reason why he brought me here.

"I apologize, Your Majesty. You can tell the warden about this. I don't care."

I stood up and bowed my head at him. "If you don't have anything to say to me, Your Majesty, let me go back to the hall."

He didn't say anything so I started walking towards the doorway. Before I could even touch the doorknob, a pair of strong hands pulled me and pinned me on the wall.

Both of his hands are caging me on the wall. His face is so close to mine. If I move, I'd bump into his chest.

"The queen's selection has already been going on."
