Unknown: ????????
Exclaimed a voiced from the dark.
Everything went tranquil, the beast's presence disappeared and the silence that followed was deeper than the pitch-black forest.
The winds blew carrying the scent of blood mixed with mud and the trees rustled as the moon shined through the leaves of the tall trees upon the stature of the human like being standing before unconscious rein.
As rein begin to come to his senses he trembled at the sight of his Saviour, for his instincts felt sharp repulsion. He felt as if he would die if he dared to move in the slightest. He felt as if he was being consumed in an immeasurable void.
The ghastly being though having the appearance of a human had a blood thirsty presence with eyes similar to the wildest of the beasts, he looked somewhat human but devoid of emotions.
[On the other side of the forest]
Soon there could be heard sirens from the nearby city which wasn't even a mile away. It was as if the city was in an uproar people screaming could be heard from miles for, they were experiencing the same fate that rein had to go through. But the difference was that there wasn't anyone capable enough to repel those monsters. The beasts were great in number.
Some of the people agonized from the pain of fang piercing their body, flesh tearing and bones breaking while the others trembled as their loved one were torn apart while they stood there helpless.
The monsters had rather familiar appearance they had for four limbs, and each mounted with claws bigger in girth than the teeth of a shark, they had humongous bodies, with skin as rough as shredded iron, their mouths had jaws similar to a wild animal but of greater size and sharper fangs. They lacked instincts but had brute strength in replacement. The ongoing massacre felt like it would never stop.
But with the first ray of light the beasts started to vanish growing limpid each second and so did the humane yet inhumane being. In not more than a minute the demonic beasts had completely disappeared as if they had never existed, but the aftermath said otherwise.
If one would say it was as if the hell was carved upon the land of mortals, half torn corpse, people weeping in sorrow, blood flowing through sewers.
While the reason behind all the facades still stood unknown little rogers was left to fend for himself among the wild. As the realization of what he had lost stuck him, tears rolled down his cheeks, his screams started to resonate among the woods.
And as one would expect wild animals attracted towards the noise feasted upon little rogers and reduced him to nothingness.
The sudden appearance of the barbaric beasts and the inhumane being still stands as a mystery to solve for those who still lives.
