The anomality fell flat on the ground, as Nord stood before him bleeding from his ruptured fists after hitting the beast in the face. Nord breathes heavily rubbing off the blood from his face.
Penguin tapped his head to subside the successive concussions that he braced during the deadly combat. He then uses his ability to heal Nord's ruptured fists.
Penguin: OH! my head hurts!
Nord: Sorry.
Penguin: [In a shaky voice] Sorry my ass!... It's..... It's been a while since I had been so worked up in a fight. Rein would have handled it more efficiently.
Nord: So, you are Sir Rein's friend?
Penguin: Friend? Hah! [letting out a little laugh] you can say that. But we're more like travelers helping each other to reach a similar goal.
Nord: Goal? what kind of goal?
Penguin: Well... Something like killing a legend.
Nord: Legend?
The anomality started getting on his feet, the surroundings air began to vibrate as the dark clouds covered the sky.
Penguin: Times up. The bastard's getting on his feet again.
Nord: He's persistent [scoffs].
Lightning sparks filled the clouds, as they started bursting with fierce thunder sounds.
Penguin: Another reason I didn't wanted to fight him.
Nord: Because he is tough?
Penguin: Nah, because he is one of the mythical being the God of Thunder!
[The anomality raised his right arm]
Lark and Vilson were fending off the lesser beasts. When suddenly Lark started running towards Vilson, before reaching Vilson he lunged towards him, grabbing him from the shoulder and rolling him to the side as if clearing the path for something.
Vilson: What are you--
An axe about the height of an average human, came flying like a disc sparking with electricity. Vilson's eyes widened as he saw it landing in the eldritch being's right hand. The beast gripped the axe, scoffed with little smirk and sprinted towards Nord. Luminescent bright and somewhat dark blue lightning sparks originating from the axe travelled throughout the anomality's body.
Penguin: This would be a great time to run.
Nord stood there with blank expressions as if being overwhelmed by the animosity of the approaching beast. On closing in on Nord the anomality swung the huge axe in a motion vertical to the ground, in a attempt to slice the prey in half.
Penguin: Oi muscle head can you hear me. Oi oooiiiiiii
Nord looked at the falling axe as penguin's voice resonated at a distance. Penguin smacked Nord's head bringing him back to his senses. "Get a hold of yourself", yelled penguin. As soon as Nord realized the gravity of the situation, he dashed out of the line of action of the approaching calamity, dodging the axe by the skin of his teeth, rolling sideways on his shoulder. The axe strikes the ground and along with it strikes a huge lightning bolt, breaking the ground, sending tremors with impact.
Penguin was still hanging on Nord's shoulder. "You still hanging on?", said Nord smirking as he stood back up on his feet. "I have handled worse", replied penguin sighing as if remembering something.
"You still up for fight?", said penguin as if taunting Nord.
"I sure am", said Nord back as he was pumped up by the raging beast.
"You moron you have no chance of beating him, just look at him, he is lightning himself", said Penguin trying to convince Nord to run rather than engaging in combat.
"I won't die right!", said Nord.
"No, you won't as long as I am with you, but that does not ensure your victory", replied penguin, a bit frustrated.
"That much is enough", said Nord in a calm voice.
Without thinking twice Nord rushed towards the lightning god. The anomality lifted the axe again and swung it horizontally this time striking Nord's abdomen, slashing him almost in half, Nord shrieked in pain as blood burst out of his lower torso.
"That's why I told you to run", yelled penguin as he touched his shoulder with his little flipper and regenerated the area of impact.
Instead of falling back Nord gritted his teeth and advanced even forward landing a clean right on the beast's face. But this time along with his ruptured fists he received thousands of volts in mere seconds of contact, this dampened his fist's strength. His arm turned black, burnt to crisp and rest of the body paralyzed for fraction of seconds. Penguin felt it too but was almost unfazed. The beast tanked Nord's fist and shrugged off the impact by twisting his neck in the opposite direction of the impact, which was followed by a cracking sound, he then scoffed and smirked as if making a mockery of Nord. Taking advantage of the paralyzed prey, the beast then hit Nord in the face with his left fist throwing him off his feet to some distance.
Nord's right arm which had turned to charcoal black dusted off his shoulder and half his face had shared the same fate. He was rendered useless until penguin healed him to his original state.
In a flash all his injuries were gone, his arm grew back to its original state and so did his face.
His frame was returned to its original state and so he stood back on his feet breathing for his life.
"I cannot touch him", whispered Nord under his breath.
"This is why I told you to run!!", yelled penguin as he was sharing the same fate as Nord, getting electrocuted along with him.
"If only I had my hammer", said Nord back as if ignoring penguin.
The anomality slowly walked towards Nord, his eyes shining blue, similar to the sparks running through his body. Nord stood there yet again not unaware of what his further course of action should be.
Lark and Vilson who were now observing Nord's fight stood there helpless trying to hatch a plan to turn things around when suddenly Lark yelled, "Heath! what about heath!"
"Shit! I almost forgot about him", said Vilson as he turned around only to be shocked at the sudden appearance.
Rein stood there with Heath unconscious on his shoulder. "What the hell!! you scared me," said Vilson.
"Is he dead!", said Lark as he saw Heath hanging on Rein's shoulder.
"He's alive", said Rein putting heath on the ground.
"Thank God!!", said Vilson.
"There is no god!", said Rein back, frowning.
Vilson was a bit surprised at Rein's comment, but he didn't say anything.
"You need to help Nord, he is going to get killed", pleaded Lark looking at Rein.
"I doubt that he would like my help", replied Rein.
"What do you mean", said Vilson in a calm and serious tone.
"I would hurt his pride if I interfered", answered Rein.
"But he's going to die! at this rate," said Vilson.
"*rein sighs what kind of weapon does he use," asked Rein.
"What?" questioned Vilson as if confirming rein's words.
"What kind of weapon is your friend accustomed to?" replied rein confirming Vilson's doubt.
"A giant hammer, but why?" said Vilson.
Rein did not reply rather he reached for something inside a pouch which was hanging from his waist. After a few seconds of wiggling around he took out a miniature sized hammer from the pouch, he flicked it in the air on which the hammer gained it's original size, about 4 feet in length and 2 feet wide on the end. Rein grabbed it from the helm and threw it towards Nord.
Lark's astonishment at the happening could be clearly seen at his face, while Vilson maintained his expressions.
Rein then marched forward and threw the hammer towards Nord.
"Incoming!", he yelled.
The hammer landed just before Nord. Penguin recognized the hammer and said, "It's Rein's! use it, it's a non-conductor."
"Non-conductor?" said Nord in a confused tone.
"You won't get shocked!! moron!" yelled penguin back.
Nord heard the words clear as day, an evil smile widened on his face as he lifted the hammer from the ground.
