CH 3: I KILLED HIM

In company's parking lot LAURA speedily went towards her car after disconnecting the call. She sped up towards her mansion where her son was waiting for her.

In the mansion, after the call disconnected, KAYDEN placed the phone on the table and hurriedly made his way to the main door. He properly checked it and made his way to different rooms and locked them well. Lastly, he went to the kitchen where the windows were open. He shut the windows and a huge sound window shutting could be heard. As soon as the windows were shut the whole house sunk into darkness.

KAYDEN flinched and turned back. There was nothing but darkness. He got scared. The news of JACOB'S murder flashed through his mind. He started to tremble again. The little moonlight was not enough to see through the darkness. His thoughts were in a mess when he heard sound of footsteps. He covered his mouth so that any voice couldn't be heard by anyone. But his sons betrayed him. He grabbed a knife from the shelf and sat down while covering himself by the shelf. He could hear the footsteps nearing. He tightly grab the knife.

The footsteps entered the kitchen. KAYDEN suddenly jumped and stabbed the person in front of him.

'Khachak... '

He was sure it was the same person who killed JACOB and now he is after him.

"aaaahhhhhh... "

With the first stab there was a loud scream filled with pain and misery. But KAYDEN was out if his senses. He just stabbed again and again. With each stab the sound of screams gradually downed and soon only stabbing sounds could be heard.

"aaahhh...aahh.. ah..a.... "

KAYDEN'S target was the person's chest. Even after the person was silent, he still stabbed him continuously like a psycho who lost his mind.

Outside the mansion a car horn sounded. The guard confirmed that it was Mrs. SMITH and opened the gate hurriedly. LAURA drives inside and stopped in front of the mansion's main door. When she came out, all she saw was darkness in the mansion. She got worried while thinking of her son's condition. She loudly called out for head of security.

"MAX, ALEX?"

Soon a young men appeared by the door.

"Yes Mam?"

MAX said while keeping his head low.

"What's happenening? Why is it so dark inside?"

LAURA asked indifferently. She was always like this with everyone. Never showing her real emotions to other. From in side she was scared for her son but she showed it like a No Big Deal.

"Mam the fuse tripped. Alex is reparing it. Soon it will be fine."

Max said politely.

"What about KAYDEN? He is alone inside?"

LAURA asked again.

"No Mam. The front door is locked but we have sent the old butler inside to take care of Master KAYDEN."

Max said calmly.

Listening this she asked him to get the keys for main door. Max as per ordered went away and soon returned with a bunch of keys. He opened the door and LAURA entered followed by Max.

When she reached at the living room, she heard a weird sound. Following the sound she and max reached at the kitchen and only saw some shadows. But they couldn't understand the situation that what was going on. Unknowingly she called out for her son.

"KAYDEN?"

KAYDEN snapped out by heating his mother's voice and looked up. Although he could only see two shadows but he knew his mom's voice.

"M..mom. Mom look he came to kill me. I killed him."
