9. Charlos With His Girlfriend?

Rissa began to despair. She sighed. She thought that she wasn't matching with Chalos today. Her legs went limp. So, she decided to look for James.

Rissa walked slowly, and then she stopped her step. There he is; she saw Charlos twenty meters away. He was talking while bowing to someone in a black sedan, which the window half lowered. Their face was quite close. Then, Charlos straightened up, smiled, and circled the car to sit in the passenger seat.

The sedan sped away, left the church parking lot, and left Rissa, who was still desperately hoping to greet Charlos. Rissa felt a little sorry that her steps were not fast enough to approach Charlos.

From behind, someone tapped Rissa's shoulder. Rissa spontaneously turned around in shock. "James? What the...."

"Rissa, what are you doing?" James asked, glancing at the road that Rissa had been staring at with a blank face.

When Rissa was about to answer, James had asked again, "Where are Esther and Pamela? You two aren't together?"

"How about you? Where is Felice?" Rissa looked behind James and saw no one there.

"I didn't wait for Felice, because she took so long," James pouted slightly. "She was cleaning up earlier. I want to get home now."

Rissa still glanced slightly to the sedan go. James looked at his watch.

"Let's just go home! But, before we go home, let's go to the supermarket first. I want to cook something for you."

Rissa sighed, and then she started to smile while rubbing James's head. "Okay. Didn't I ever say that James is the best brother the world I ever have."

James chuckled as he removed her sister's hand from his head. "Oh, come on, Rissa. I am the one and only your brother."

Rissa laughed. "Of course. Let's go!" said Rissa as she wrapped her arms around James's neck.

Rissa and James walked out of the churchyard. And then, they went to a supermarket in a mall, not too far from the church, and went by public bus.

James is indeed the best brother. Rissa is very grateful for it. He always makes Rissa smile. Anyway, James is a pretty good chef. He was always cooking when Rissa doesn't have time to prepare anything to eat.

When in the supermarket, James took over. He took vegetables, meat, and noodles. He will make his wish come true to cook the fried noodles.

Meanwhile, Rissa took the soap, detergent, and dish soap. Everything is on promotion: one free one.

Rissa's salary is quite large, but she has to save her money because she doesn't like it when her mother sends her money. Moreover, she had to pay James's tuition.

After shopping, they walked out of the supermarket. James was carrying a shopping basket.

"Here. Let me help you," said Rissa. Her hand was about to pull a basket, but James stopped her.

"It's okay, Rissa. It is so easy. I can do it by myself," said James.

Rissa smiled. "Okay then."

They walked towards the bus stop, past a coffee shop. The smell of coffee wafts out onto the street. Rissa inhaled the aroma deeply, and James also did the same.

"The smell is so good. I like it."

Rissa nodded. "Me too."

Rissa looked into the coffee shop through the glass window. Her eyes widened.

Her idol man was sitting in the coffee shop with someone. Unfortunately, Rissa couldn't see the face because she was sitting with her back. Rissa could only saw her long and curly hair. Charlos seemed to be having a serious conversation with the woman.

Rissa thought about going inside the tavern with James and then sitting close to Charlos's table. So, Rissa would greet Charlos, pretending that she had just seen him. After that, Rissa will also pay close attention to what the mysterious woman looks like. Rissa was absolutely sure that the woman was Charlos's girlfriend.

Suddenly, she felt sad. There was no chance for her to have the angel's heart. She immediately gave up the crazy idea of going into the coffee shop. It must be her, the woman in the black sedan that picked up Charlos at the church.

James stopped walking, then turned to look at his sister, who was pensive.

"What is the matter, Rissa?" James asked worriedly.

"What? Nothing. We have to go home." Rissa walked quickly after James.

Her brother still looked at her in surprise, but Rissa covered her sadness with a smile.

She just kept trying to look as cheerful as possible in front of James. Even though she felt sad and disappointed in her heart, she was still imagining what had happened like a broken video cassette, repeating the same scene over and over again.

She felt very sad, even though she still did not know the clarity about the mysterious woman. She had just met Charlos. So, she did not really know him well.

But still, she fell in love at first sight with that handsome man.

Well, this thing is too fast. Rissa thought that everything is only in her mind. It was clear that Charlos would never be her love. She should have thought more realistically. It is time for Rissa to return her thoughts and visions to the real world.

After being satisfied with lunch at home with James, Rissa became sleepy. She felt very tired. James did the dishes, and then he took out the unironed clothes from his room.

"Rissa, do you have any clothes that you want to iron?"

Rissa just mumbled. James approached Rissa, who was curled up on her bed.

James gave up his intention to disturb Rissa. So, he put the blanket on and closed the door, and then he cleaned the clothes to be ironed. When he saw that a rat had bitten the iron wire, he didn't dare plug it in.

James sighed. It looks like he'll have to buy a new cable. So, he took his jacket from his room and went to the electrician. As usual, James always forgot to lock the door.

It was a bit hot that day. Rissa was fast asleep, and her body was sweating. Unconsciously. she kicked the blanket. She dreamed that she was chasing a kite, but the kite kept flying away from her.
