15. Hard Presentation

Rissa could only nod obediently. Suddenly, the tension ran through her body. She had never presented before. She realized that this meeting was crucial. So, she had to do her best. Golden Group must sign the contract with PT. Charisma, no matter what.

Rissa continued to study the document more seriously. She didn't notice as time continued to pass for an hour. Rissa looked at the mirror in the toilet, and then she tidied up her slightly messy hair and put some lipstick on her lips.

She steeled her heart that she certainly could do this thing. Anyway, she stepped into the meeting room while slightly adjusting her tight skirt.

The photocopied documents have been put in the folder. Rissa placed the maps one by one on the table. From a distance, Rissa could hear Mr. Agung's voice was talking and laughing so loud. He must be talking to someone from the Golden Group.

Then, the officials came. Risa's heart was beating fast. She almost froze when she saw the person from the Golden Group was none other than the handsome angel.

The man stepped his long legs with the grace of a panther; his eyes were so sharp and charming, his dark gray suit looked so snug on his body, and his undercut hair looked so neat and shiny.

So, they entered the meeting room. The man flashed a small smile. Suddenly, Rissa ran out of oxygen. Rissa hastily turned around, averting her eyes from the sight that was too beautiful to behold.

Rissa would definitely faint. Well, she may be convulsing; her hands and knees were shaking. Rissa almost faltered, and her legs were unable to support her body.

She realized that her reaction to all of this thing was too violent. Luckily, she remembered to breathe.

"Carissa!" Mr. Agung called her.

Risa turned around. "Yes, Sir?" Her voice sounds choked.

"Where is Esther?"

Rissa struggled to swallow saliva. "Esther is not feeling well, Sir. So, I am the one taking her place now," answered Rissa while looking down. Mr. Agung looked surprised for a moment, but then he introduced Rissa to the handsome angel.

"Alright. This is Mr. Charlos. He is the CEO of the Golden Group," said Mr. Agung.

Is the angel a CEO? Rissa didn't hear wrong, did she?

"G-good afternoon, Mr. Charlos," said Rissa nervously, holding out her shaking hand. She could only stare at her hand, which was warmly welcomed by Charlos's hand. The electric power generated managed to make Rissa's heart jump up to her throat.

Charlos smiled, as usual; his beautiful dimples adorned his cheeks. Rissa didn't want to see that smile because she would definitely be convulsing. Anyway, the desire in her chest was so great to satisfy her real visual, not just a figment like in her mind. And finally, the seizures only occur in a particular area of her lower body.

"You are the choir singer, aren't you? The girl at church yesterday, right?" His voice is so deep and soul-stirring.

Mr. Agung looked at Rissa in surprise. "Oh really? I don't know. Is that right, Carissa?"

Rissa nodded too quickly. Mr. Agung laughed so loud. "It's good that you know each other. So, our business is getting smoother, isn't it, Mr. Charlos?" said Mr. Agung with a laugh.

"No problem, Sir," said Charlos, who was still smiling. Then, they sat in their respective chairs.

Rissa took a deep breath, then slowly let it out through her mouth. The room lights are turned off, and the projector lamp has been prepared before.

Rissa started her presentation. She explained the quality of each foam mattress and spring bed. Then, Rissa described the discounts and special prices for the Golden Group. She also explained the contract agreement that she displayed on the screen. A man who had been with Charlos recorded important things through his tab. Rissa assumed that he was Charlos's secretary.

Rissa desperately tried to concentrate on her presentation. Charlos's very handsome face never once turned to look at Rissa. It was hard to accept that Charlos was paying attention to her presentation, not to her.

His sharp gaze formed deep hollows in his eyelids, decorated with thick eyebrows. That's all we're making it difficult for Rissa to breathe again. Her lungs screamed in protest, and her feet were like jelly. Rissa was worried that she would collapse in seconds. So, she turned her gaze to the laptop.

Rissa had frozen for a few seconds while staring at the words on her laptop. Sweat dripped down her forehead. Mr. Agung's cough almost made her jump. Finally, she started to control herself.

It's not a good idea to stare at the angel. So, Rissa continued her presentation with the confidence she had worked so hard to build without glancing at Charlos.

Again, this situation is so difficult. It was too hard to ignore the presence of the angel. The light shining from him was so intense. Rissa began to realize that she might be a descendant of a moth who loves to approach the light.

Rissa made another mistake by glancing at Charlos's lips. The dark atmosphere in this room is hypnotizing. Rissa's mind wandered wildly, imagining Charlos's thin and soft lips. The angel seemed to deliberately stir up the atmosphere by biting his lips in a sexy fashion.

"Good!" shouted Mr. Agung, interrupting her indecent reverie. Rissa almost vomited her own heart out of her mouth. It was a super hard presentation. Next time, she had to prepare herself even better. Oh, don't let there be another time.

The officials applauded. Unexpectedly, Charlos also liked the presentation. A relieved smile spread across Rissa's face. Mr. Agung was satisfied with the documents and Rissa's way of presenting, even though Rissa was sure that she had destroyed everything earlier.

"Very well, Mr. Agung. I am very pleased to be able to work with you. We will set a date for signing the contract. Oh yes, Rissa, please prepare the documents later."

Rissa dropped the document in her hand until it was scattered on the floor when she heard her name being mentioned by the angel.

"Okay, Sir. I'll prepare it immediately." Rissa kept her voice from shaking.

Presentation completed. The lights were back on, and Rissa cleaned up the scattered documents. The paper seemed to form a mocking pattern for her ridiculous actions earlier.
