47. A New Problem

"Hey! Wait a minute. Why are we talking about Charlos?" Satria changed his seat. "You didn't... Could it be that you rejected me because of him?"

"Uhm ... No, Satria. I mean ... I was just curious. I thought you were the closest friend to him." Rissa tried to sound as natural as possible.

"Oh, really?" Satria didn't seem to believe it. "Well, yeah. I was his close friend, but that was a long time ago. He has changed, changed a lot. Since he knew Reva, the saxophone player ..." Rissa flinched at that name, "... he's been weird," continued Satria. Rissa is not surprised if Satria knows the name of Reva.

"Actually, the name is not Reva," said Satria. "However, Charlos always calls the person like that. Reva helped him through all his bitter days. Somehow, they get to know each other. Day after day, Charlos seems happier."

Satria sipped his tea with a noise. Then he put down the glass with his bandaged hand.
