57. Rissa Can't Forget About Charlos

Rissa turned to look at her best friend's worried face and then forced herself to smile. Her facial muscles seemed to be pulled by invisible threads. Pamela smiled back.

Then, Rissa wiped her face with a tissue that she didn't know how many strands she had spent.

"Okay. Forget about him," Pamela said, "From now on, we don't need to talk about Charlos anymore. Alright? Just forget it. I know you can do it."

Rissa nodded, then took another sip of her coffee which had become cold. She remembered what had happened to her today. Apart from being sad because Rissa thought about Charlos, other problems were no less severe in her life. She had to leave her home and find a new place. Well, so sad that Aunt Astrid had kicked her out of the house.

"Mel, do you know about a rented house or boarding house near where I work?" asked Risa.

"Hmm, I don't know. Why do you ask? Are you planning to move?"
