65. The Apartment

"Can you clean up yourself, James?" asked Charlos.

"Yes. I can," James replied, pulling his clothes out of a box.

"Okay, then I'll go first." Charlos tapped James on the shoulder.

Charlos didn't expect Rissa to come home so late today. How could that woman keep working all the time?

It's half-past six now. Charlos had been texting Rissa since five o'clock. Rissa answered him, and she said she had to work overtime. So, Charlos waited for her in the car until he fell asleep.

Suddenly, someone knocked on his car window. Charlos was surprised; then he opened the window. Rissa was smiling at him.

Then Charlos told her to come inside. Finally, Rissa went around the car and sat next to it.

"Why are you so long?" lamented Charlos.

"Sorry." Rissa held Charlos cheek. "I already told you that I'm working late today. Besides, you don't have to pick me up every day. I can take the bus home myself."

"Noway!"
