146. Disappointment

Charlos's head was throbbing with pain. He pressed his temples shut.

"I don't want to argue with you," Rissa said calmly.

"I don't want to argue with you either!"

"Then calm down."

Charlos growled. He clenched his hands. Well, his blood pressure must be high right now. He took a deep breath, then let it out through his mouth, and he repeated it five times. Now, his eyes stared at the ceiling of the car.

"I just want you to tell the truth," Charlos said after he had struggled to calm himself.

"How much did you hear?"

"Everything!"

"Then I don't need to explain anything else to you. You've heard everything."

"What?"

Why is the situation so reversed? When Charlos has calmed down, now it's Rissa's turn, who seems to have been harboring anger for a long time.

This is not fair! Rissa has committed treason in front of his own eyes. Rissa doesn't need to be like that to him.
