As the timer ends, Mizuki looks up and notices one of the shrine maidens approach her. She won the game, and an immense wave of relief washes over her.
"Y-Yes?" she asks with a stutter in her voice, hands cupped behind her back as she has the habit to do so when she's nervous.
The shrine maiden takes a stand in front of her, gaze lowering briefly to Mizuki's hidden hands.
"Is there something you need?" Mizuki asks quickly, glancing around surreptitiously to search for 'Zee' before she tries anything mischievous. 'Zee' may not be a child in terms of age, but she might as well have the maturity of one—as she has seen throughout the day.
"Oh, no no. I was surprised when I saw you back here. I didn't notice you coming in from the front so… Nothing important," the shrine maiden smiles.
"What brings you here today—standing at the back of the shrine? Did the Association send you again?" she probes and Mizuki starts to feel a little uncomfortable.
