Push Me Under

Seto holds out his notepad in front of Mizuki's face, simply hovering it there to prompt her to sit up. Mizuki squints, trying to make out the drawing despite the sun shining directly in her eyes. She holds it in her hand, and he allows, after which she finds a semi-realistic sketch of herself done with his expert hand. Her eyes widen and her lips curl into a smile.

"I didn't know you could draw people so well, wow!" she exclaims.

Seto grins, and there's more relief than there is gratitude. It's as though he was worried she wouldn't like it.

"It came with practice," he replies proudly and it sounds as though he has been waiting to use this line for a long while. Mizuki notices how he looks akin to a child with his innocent pride, bearing a proud grin on his smile.

"You like it, right?" he asks again and it, now like he's fishing for compliments.
