Hinata looks at her in doubt, finding it relatively hard to believe again.
By right, he shouldn't be judging or making self-proclaimed decisions about a place he might've visited only once or twice—that too, far back in the past, but Shoma's words often come with so much surreality that Hinata would claim it's too difficult to believe in her truth.
"That's because you wouldn't have faced the class divide," Hinata reminds, looking at her pointedly and hinting at the very obvious.
Shoma's expression blanks for a few moments as she ponders the meaning of his words, and then she sits up immediately.
To stop her from rocking the boat, he clasps onto her arm and fixes his grip onto her tightly, having expected such a reaction.
"Calm down," he scolds, and he thinks, if he met the Mage of Moon in any other situation then he wouldn't be holding onto her, praying she won't capsize a goddamn boat.
