Chapter 13

The noise on the hallway eventually died down as the students started getting to their classes. It was so quiet that one could hear a drop of pen. However, only this place was peaceful, inside the girls' restroom, two girls were still taking their time. One was brushing her long black hair while the other one was washing her hands clean.

After turning the faucet off, Cath wiped her hands dry and looked at the girl beside her

"Do you think Zach will really Join?" Cath asked. " I don't think he will join. After all he know his limits " Sabrina replied while shaking her head nonchalantly

"What do you mean limits? I mean he is handsome" Cath defended making Sabrina frown.

"Come on, he doesn't even have a talent to begin with. tsk.tsk" Sabrina insisted, still a little brushing her long black hair

"Okay. By the way, You saw that guy named Zhen, right?" Sabrina hummed

" Do you think he had some kind of relationship with Jade?"

Upon hearing this, Sabrina felt like she was going to vomit blood at any moment. "Eh? did you see the way that Zhen looked at Jade? they obviously didn't have any relationship" Sabrina tried to dismiss the thought but how could she possibly get rid of that crazy thought now that she had already heard it.

"But they look like they already knew each other for so long"Cath continued to mumble, unconvinced by her friends words

" What the h*ll! just help me with my hair, Will ya?" Sabrina almost smack her friends head with the hair brush to stop her however,

"Do you think he's handsome?" Cath still didn't stop babbling but at least its not about the rumors anymore so she sighed and thought back to his features.

he has that charming face that would definitely look cute if he only smiled a little.

A pair of Phoenix eyes that looked naturally fierce and fiery

"Hm... I can't say..." She hesitated. Now that she thought about his beautiful pouting lips, she couldn't help but slightly blush

"Maybe he needs to smile a little bit then he'll definitely be cute" Sabrina admitted, her cheeks were slowly turning red. "Sabrina, are you sick?" She immediately slapped the hand that was approaching her forehead.

"Stop. We should go now" Sabrina simply said before leaving her friend behind who immediately chased her.

the two arrived at the faculty office where the other officers are waiting. "What took you so long fellas?" A fat guy, wearing an eyeglasses approached them, carrying a pile of paperworks. "The next time you guys are going to pee,don't ever bring a friend with you" The guy put the paper down the table and wrote something on one of the papers before glancing at the ladies who had just entered.

The fat guy then snapped his fingers and pointed at the empty chairs across him. This bossy guy's name is Dean and he is the School's secretary.

Sabrina stuck her tongue out to Dean before sitting on her chair. After everything had settled, the faculty office's door opened once again this time a handsome youth entered, his cold, intimidating aura made everyone quiet. The guy's protruding eyes were cold as ice yet his all in all features were somewhat godlike, with a trace of equivocation making it hard for anyone to read his mind. He is no other than the School President

All the other officers were quiet and some even held their breath as the guy walked to his seat at the front. When the guy took his seat. he glanced at everyone's place face and a bone-chilling chuckle escaped his lips.

he sighed and said " I came to announce our today's schedule and yet you guys looked like you've seen a ghost?" His eyes that was narrowed gradually returned to its normal phase as he showed a paper to everyone

"Secretary" With that, Secretary Dean immediately rushed to take a look at the paper

in a quick seconds before explaining to everyone

"Today, the school agreed to cut off the Afternoon schedule and lend the time for the students to prepare" Dean adjusted his glasses before continuing

"Until the next day. So basically" Dean was cut off when the Guy raised his hands

"So we have three days to prepare for the contest "

"....."

everyone was quiet. Who could even retort to the President's decision? and besides, it wasn't just his decision but also the teachers and the School principal's decision

The guy noticed everyone's questioning faces so he added " Changes can occur at anytime so please stay alert, Vice President Sabrina" Sabrina who was just sitting peacefully at her chair, was startled and quickly nodded while writing down the President's order.

The guy handed the pile of papers to Dean that was especially placed there by Dean himself "Distribute this to them and make them finish it today. Deadline is tomorrow at lunch , if not then I'm not accepting it anymore" He said before standing up

"Now you can all go to your respective classes " He said before leaving. After the guy left, everyone started to complain

"Urgh what a headache! How could he do this to us!" One girl almost slammed the chair against the wall due to her frustration. "We're also students aren't we? How could he give us this pile of work to be submitted tomorrow!! "

"I can't even finish my essay in two days "

"Yes and we still have other School homeworks to do aside from this. How are we even going to finish this on time?"

The whole group was a total mess. Some even threw the papers on the floor but upon realizing something, they immediately picked it up as if their lives depend on that assignment and just wailed

"We also have to prepare for the school competition in three days" Cath who was just as confused as them, finally spoke, her head hung low

"He said... He said there will be changes and we haven't even prepared"

Everyone went silent and listened to what she was about to say " Gathering everyone every afternoon takes a lot of time and we don't have that much time to do everything before the competition starts"

Suddenly, Cath angrily slammed the table making everyone gasp " So why didn't you complain while he was still here!?"

"....."

"Alright. Calm down, okay? Normally, we would complain about how difficult our tasks are but we didn't say we wouldn't comply right? After all we're just Students who loved to complain" Sabrina immediately rushed to calm her friend as she looked at everyone with a 'sorry' look

"En...about what happened a while ago....We didn't complain because we were scared—i mean we were dumbfounded"

Cath wasn't a fool she knows that her friend was just calming her down and also warning her so she forced herself to calm down and glanced at everyone

"We all should cooperate and solve this" She said before nodding to her friend. Everyone Immediately agreed and went to their own classes
