Invitation

Almost tripping down on the mat Crimson's mother came running towards her confusing her, for her mother never acted this way except when she's excited or nervous. Her mother immediately grabbed her shoulder for support while panting and handed her the black envelope with elegant gold borders.

"What's this?" she asked.

"What do you mean what's this?"

" I mean who is this from and why are you giving this to me?"

Her mother's eyes widened not believing what she's hearing from her 20-year-old daughter.

"That envelope belongs to the most prestigious academy in the world and your name is written on it!"

Crimson just stared at her mother not understanding what she meant.

"Why are you staring at me like I have two heads?"

"Mom, I haven't even heard of this school!"

Her mom sighed.

"Okay, I get your point. It's a very exclusive school, you can't get in unless they invited you themselves. That's why nobody really knows about it."

Crimson looked at her mom with narrowed eyes.

"Then how do you know about them? Were you invited before?"

"No, but I know someone who was. Oh just open it!"

Her mom explained and slap her arm waiting eagerly for her to open the envelope. She slowly opened the black and gold envelope and in it, was written the words that would change her life forever.

'You are qualified to be a student of Agent 101 Academy. We will be expecting you.' below the text was the address of the place where she needed to go and another paper was in the envelope containing the things she will need to bring in coming to the academy.

"I-I don't wanna leave you alone here, mom. You need me." Crimson worryingly told her mom seeing the content of the letter.

Her mom patted her back comforting her.

"it's alright sweetheart. I'm not that old yet, I can still survive on my own." Crimson's mother told her with a comforting smile.

"Okay, I trust you," Crimson answered

"Are you all ready?"

"Yep, still nervous tho," Crimson answered her mom while clasping her hands cause of nervousness.

"It's okay sweetie, you won't get invited without a reason." her mom said trying to calm her.

"It would've been nice if dad was here with you tho so I won't worry like crazy."

her mother looked at her sadly.

"I'm sorry we couldn't find him."

She shook her head and grabbed her mother's hand to her face. She was about to say something when her mother spoke.

"Here we are dear"

Crimson sighed hearing her mother's words knowing she won't be seeing her for who knows how long. Crimson hugged her before getting off.

"Take care mom and call me if something comes up," Crimson told her mother before her mother drove away.

She was about to go inside the building when she heard a voice from behind.

"Ms. Villarreal?"

Crimson turned around and saw a woman with deep orange dream hair, thin lips, a pointed nose, and pure blue eyes. The woman extended her arms towards her.

"Hi, I'm Bridget Kaye Laurier"

Still confused she accepted the woman's hand, the woman then smiled at her seeing her confused face.

"I'll be the one accompanying you to the academy."

"Wait, this isn't it?"

The woman laughed at her question.

"No of course not. If it was here, we won't be so exclusive won't we?"

Ms. Laurier then leads her to a Volvo xc40 car across the street. Inside was another woman the same age as her. When the woman looked at her she smiled but the woman answered by rolling her eyes, it's pretty obvious that the woman doesn't like her.

"Get in Ms. Villarreal"

Ms. Laurier told her which she immediately follows. Along the way, Crimson stayed quiet and just looked at the sceneries outside. After about 2 hours, she began to notice that buildings are slowly being replaced by tall trees.

"Ahm. Ms. Lauriel"

"Bridget is fine"

"Ahm. Bridget, why are there suddenly a lot of trees?"

The other woman with them scoffed as if not believing what she's hearing while Bridget just smiled as if she was expecting her question.

"Don't worry dear, we're not lost. We'll arrive in approximately 10 minutes."

Even tho she didn't really get it, she stayed quiet, and true to Bridget's word the car did stop after 10 minutes. She arranged her things and got off to get her luggage from the back. The three of them walked for another 20 minutes before Bridget stopped.

"Girls, Welcome to Agent 101."

Crimson looked at the area where Bridget was pointing and her eyes immediately went wide watching the view in front of her.

"That is one giant gate!"
