'I found you, bitch'

Summer flopped to her sofa as soon as she arrived home, exhausted from what happened between her and Heidi. Amber—who was listening to music—removed one of her ear pods, then stared at Summer confusedly.

"What happened to you?"

"I fought with Heidi." Summer sluggishly answered. "She was accusing me, damn."

"Huh? Why? What did you do?"

"Nothing. I am innocent.. I didn't send anything to the police to ruin her or something but she won't believe me!" Summer messed up her hair. Amber just raised her right brow.

"Why are you worrying yourself about it? If she didn't believe you then let her be. You explained yourself, weren't you? That's enough."

Summer sat properly and then looked at Amber. "You don't understand... You know it's—Aist! Never mind"

Summer flopped back to the sofa which made Amber roll her eyes.

"What will you do, then?" Amber asked.

"I don't know."

"See? Why bothered if you don't even know what to do? Let her be. Don't waste your time in people with closed minds" Amber was about to put her ear pod back, but she paused when Summer stared at her curiously. "What?"

"You met Trish the other day?"

"Trish?" Amber thought deeply. "Oh. Yes... But it wasn't planned. Why?"

Summer averted her gaze. "Just asking."

Amber quickly grinned then excitedly leaned toward Summer. "Hey. You know. She's kinda interesting."

Summer suddenly felt a little nervous at Amber's enthusiastic statement. She slowly looked at her and saw her shimmering eyes. "W-What do you mean?"

"Well, honestly saying... If she was a boy, I probably want to date her. Isn't it weird?" Amber giggled.

Summer jolted up which startled Amber. "Y-You can't. You're straight... R-Right?"

Amber's brows furrowed at her weird reaction. She stared at her unexplainable expression.

"Of course, I am... I'm just saying that she was interesting. Wait, why do you look so tense? Don't worry. I won't date her. And also, I said 'IF'... 'IF she was a boy' Duh!"

Summer averted her gaze and turned around.

"I just don't want you to cause any trouble. Especially to Trish! Uhm. I'll head to the room first. Don't forget to lock the doors."

Summer told, then posthaste to her room, leaving Amber with a huge question mark on her mind. 'What's wrong with her?'

She just put her ear pod back and sweetly smiled. 'Ghad. Why am I getting butterflies whenever I'm thinking that time?'

"Hehe. She's weirdly cute" Amber mumbled while thinking about Tristan's face.

.

It was around noon and the sun was scorching. Amber irritatedly went out of her car while wiping off her sweats and paced towards her house's gate.

She could already feel the heavy vibe of her home even from the outside.

Their maids greeted her when she walked in. She politely greeted them back with a smile but it was swiftly gone as she noticed Reign in the living room, sitting on the sofa while reading something.

She was about to head into her room but Reign spoke which halted her.

"So, you're home."

"Yes. Why? You missed me?" Amber sarcastically replied. Reign just coldly stared at her.

"I am actually hoping you did not." Amber just narrowed her eyes at Reign's response.

She didn't talk back anymore since she was not in the mood to argue with her sister. But, her eyes landed on the paper that Reign was reading.

Yes, she was indeed not in the mood but her system was calling her to mock her sister after realizing what was she reading about.

"Lady Psychopath, huh. Isn't that the most popular novel by Jane Sala?" Amber started but Reign just ignored her.

"It will have its movie adaptation, right? Oh, wait! Don't tell me you're gonna audition?" Amber added which made Reign glare at her.

Amber was delighted by the reaction of her sister. She wanted to piss her off and gladly it's working. So... What if she will piss her off even more? Tee hee.

"Pfft—Seriously? Ghad, Reign. Just give up. Do you really think you have a chance? Well... If it's for the second lead or other supporting characters, maybe you'll get one... But the main lead? I doubt that."

"Shut up." Reign clenched her fist, almost crumpling the paper.

Amber didn't listen and disregarded Reign's exasperation. She was actually enjoying the view of her expression.

"Don't get mad. I'm just advising you. Also... Summer will join the audition, too. So, girl. Just give up. The spot is fated... End of competitio—"

"I TOLD YOU TO SHUT UP!" Reign shoved Amber which made her fall to the floor.

Everyone immediately went in their direction and panicked. No one dared to meddle. They knew Reign was different when angry. They just stood there and watched them looked daggers at each other.

Amber stood up and pursed her lips. "What? You're angry? Isn't what I said was true? Compared to Summer, you're nothing!"

Reign was provoked. She raised her hand and walloped Amber's both cheeks. Left and right, non-stop.

Amber couldn't stop the aggressiveness of her sister, so she was just stepping back while enduring the pain until her face felt numb. But, Reign didn't cease herself.

Amber's every step backward was also her step forward.

The maids couldn't do anything but whimpered. watching the pitiful view of Amber after Reign was satisfied and ended the slap.

Amber glared at her sister as she flumped to the floor once again with those teary eyes. Reign was just expressionless, staring down at her.

That dark and terrifying aura was emanating from Reign, suffocating everyone around her.

"When I say shut up. Shut up." Reign calmly but coldly uttered. She kneeled with her one knee to level with Amber. She then gently wiped Amber's tears.

"If you had just been obedient, you wouldn't have been hurt."

"Fvck you!" Amber muttered and roughly removed Reign's hand, then she ran outside.

Reign was left unbothered. She slowly stood up and glanced at the maids which made them all flinch. "Why are you still standing there?"

In a flash, they all vanished and went back to what they were doing. Reign on the other hand completely crumpled the paper that she was reading earlier and threw it.

'Summer. Damn you... DAMN YOU!', she thought as she smacked the table in front of her. 'I will get it this time... I definitely will!'

Reign peeked at her pocket as her phone rang. She took a deep breath before picking up the call.

[I'm sorry I missed your call, Reign.]

The voice of a girl told as soon as she answered the phone.

"It's fine." She calmly responded.

[Thank you. Why did you call me earlier?]

Reign was silent for a moment. "My VIP card... Were you the one who picked it up outside the changing room?"

[VIP card?]

The girl paused for a moment.

[Oh. That card I gave to Summer? Yes. It's me. Why?]

Reign's eyes became dark and her expression turned deep. "Mind meeting me up today?"

[Uhm. Yes... It's fine. But, why?] the girl chuckled.

"Just wanna thank you... What about a drink?"

[Huh? Hahaha. You really don't have to. But.. Okay, sounds great to me. I have nothing to do anyway.]

"Okay. I'll meet you at the ZZZ bar. 3:00 pm" Reign coldly stated.

[Sure.] The girl replied then Reign hang up.

Reign gritted her teeth and glared at her phone. 'I found you, bitch'
