Tristan averted his gaze as he realized they were staring at each other for too long. Amber then cleared her throat as she averted her gaze as well.

"T-That's a relief. So, you noticed, too?"

"Mhm." Amber looked outside. "After you asked for the note, I strangely felt something. So, I contemplated everything."

"I see." Tristan tapped his fingers on the steering wheel. He didn't know why he felt uncomfortable all of a sudden.

Amber glanced around his neck, her gaze lowered when she found the same locket necklace as Summer. She cleared her throat and once again glanced at him. "Your necklace is nice."

Tristan looked at his chest and slightly smiled. "Thank you."

"Was it a gift?" Amber asked.

"Yes," Amber saw the delight in his eyes as he answered. She felt a little hurt.

"It seemed special."

Tristan nodded. "Yes, it is."

Amber looked away and cleared her throat for the nth time. "Uhm. Anyway. M-May I know the details? Uh. About the paper. I-I mean your point of view."
