'Fix'

"I thought when I left home, my life would be the same and easier. Yet, as soon as I stepped out of our doorstep, little did I know that it was too difficult to be alone." Lucas looked outside and stared at the figure of his mother, standing while talking to someone on her phone.

"I was starving and struggled to find a shelter to protect myself from rain and under the excessive heat of the sun. I thought of going back home but, my pride was too domineering, so I chose to suffer and uphold my choice," Lucas smiled while reminiscing.

"But, God was way too kind that he led me to this convenience store where I met the man who completely changed my life. It was Father Jhon. He was a priest of the church I was in right now," Lucas turned his gaze to Tristan and smiled at him wider than earlier.
