Who had fair and glowing skin... Thick, long, and shiny black wavy hair... A pair of aqua-colored, sparkling eyes. And the one who'd been loved by elders, admired by children, and the pride of the family.

SHE is my sister...

My sister, who had everything that I don't, who got all that I want and received all that I've longed for.

I hate her, but I want to be like her.

Despite being a boy, I strived to be an equal to her. I've grown my hair and taken good care of my skin. I achieved the perfect replica of her.

But just being only a copycat has never been enough.
I lived as a living picture of her image and became the scenery of my family who misses her. I'm still not equal.

Bittersweet Life

Reign paused. Her frowned face, formed a weak smile afterward. "Really? You're close to him?"


Harry nodded. He had no idea if Reign was literally acting. But still, here he was, going with the flow.


"We were together since we were kids." Harry lied. Well, perhaps, he said it half truth and half lie. Why? Because Harry truly had a cousin named Aden, but, he was certain it wasn't the Aden that Reign was talking about. Or so he thought?


"Really???? So, did he come back?!" Reign was now full of hope. Her eyes sparkled and her face brightened. 


Harry brows knitted. Bit by bit, he started to feel it was truly his cousin she was talking about. "Uh. No... Since he left. He didn't come back."


Yes, Harry's cousin left the country 9 years ago, and he never returned or even contacted him since then. Literally, he lost communication from his family.


Reign's head lowered. "He never did. He won't come back, is he?"
