As I held Mistress Victoria's child in my arms, I felt both joy and sorrow. The boy's future seemed bleak, born as a hybrid of vampire and human blood. He had inherited his mother's pale white skin and red eyes, and his father's black hair, bearing a striking resemblance to his father. This child, of Euro-African descent, would undoubtedly grow into a handsome young man.
After discussing the journey with Mistress Victoria, we decided it would be best for the child to part ways from the group after a month, ensuring his safety under my care. I was honored to be the guardian of the grandchild of Madam, Victoria's mother.

After a month, I was going to be separated from my mother for my safety. I was anxious, uncertain if I would see her again after today. She had been crying non-stop since last night, knowing we would part ways soon.
After a heartfelt hug from my tearful mother, William, who would now be my guardian, took me away. My mother's servant and William, both unable to withstand sunlight like me and my mother, could only travel at night. We eventually parted ways, heading east.
Time Skip (1 year)
On the journey, I overheard that Apocalypse had been defeated by rebels who rejected his claim of godhood. I recalled a plot from an X-Men movie where Apocalypse was sealed in a pyramid during a ceremony by one of his most trusted followers.
I was relieved, knowing that I no longer had to worry about Apocalypse's mutant power.
As the American continent had not yet been discovered by European civilizations during this timeline, and with no other safe haven on the European continent, William decided to take me far east, away from the pureblood vampire families.
During our travels, William often fed me the blood of animals and birds. As a rare hybrid, I could resist the urge to drink blood and survive on human food.
Eventually, I unlocked the evolution option in my system panel after reaching level 10.

I decided to choose Dracula, which had a lower concentration of vampire blood. I wasn't sure where the Shadow Dragon blood came from—perhaps it was inherited from my father. With no detailed information about him, I couldn't confirm it. Maybe it was a rare bloodline locked within my father's ancestors.
After William fed me animal blood and fell asleep, I decided to evolve. Selecting Dracula, I experienced excruciating pain as my bones, veins, and muscles seemed to break and repair simultaneously, dragging me through a living hell.
When the evolution was finally complete, I was so exhausted that I immediately fell asleep.
Unbeknownst to anyone, red eyes gleamed in the shadows surrounding Victor Black, with black and gold lines appearing in his eyes and golden outlines tracing the black markings on his body, reminiscent of Kratos from God of War.
When I awoke after a good sleep, William was there like a guardian angel, ready to feed me the blood of an animal he had caught, quenching my hunger and thirst.
After breakfast, we resumed our journey eastward.

Seeing the "Evil" status of the Shadow Dragon bloodline shocked me—I hadn't expected to receive such a title after evolution.
I also awakened new skills and gained 12 new shadow pets in the shadow subordinates' panel.
Curious about summoning, I discovered that it didn't consume MP, but instead, required HP, which could be healed using MP or naturally over time within my shadow.
Examining the Shadow Vampire Awakening, I learned it allowed me to awaken a shadow-like evil within vampires, creating a new species of vampires capable of traveling through shadows. Unlike other shadows, they couldn't be summoned, as they were living beings.
I also possessed the Shadow Dragon Awakening/Summoning skill, which could be used on my existing shadow pets and any future shadows I awakened.
