Can't Deny The Truth

Even Bryan understood that Rev wasn't the one they should play with every time. He might have let them off a few times as they were his friends cum brothers but he was still the deadliest person they had met. His demeanor and composed personality didn't match with his inhumane ways of taking revenge.

There was a quote, "You can tell how dangerous a person is by the way they hold their anger inside themselves quietly", they heard this quote in their primary classes however they couldn't comprehend its meaning.

And, with time, they all found that the perfect example to fit this quote from their past was their friend, Rev. It was an astounding experience to witness their always silent friend turn into a raging beast. It gives goosebumps to them even now when they think of how his eyes changed their colour to flammable fire emitting it too.

Since it was supposed to be an untold secret, Rev had taken their promises and they all had decided to never speak about that day again. It was a taboo. The other four also moved on from that incident after some time as it was the last time they got the chance to see the hidden beast, since then it never came out for another time and as per their words to him, they never enquired about it. They still loved and valued their lives which were worth more to them. They didn't want to be the ones to witness their doom's day in the hands of that unruly beast creature.

"Phew~~ You know my legs were shaking, I thought I would lose them." Livia sobbed in Serene's arms. After Aza forgave Livia and told her to stand up from her deep 90 degree bow.

Livia used shaky steps to walk over to the left side of the couch and fell down on it with a tired and exhausted look.

Then she asked Serene to come and hug her in a child-like voice. Serene reluctantly moved to her since she really didn't think that her drama had ended this soon. So she took the precaution and already warned her that if Livia tried anything funny with her then she should be ready to not feel her legs and arms anymore and live like that.

However, Livia had assured her that she only needed a hug to energize her dead muscles. Serene sat beside her and wrapped up her arms around Livia in a tight hug, patting her back.

Livia snuggled closer to her, "I could have asked others but you know only you love me enough and believe in my words, while these three won't feel any ounce of guilt for rejecting me."

Serene didn't reply to her nor did she comment on Livia's allegations.

'I don't want to be dragged along with Livia.' She decided to be mute till her friend continues to blabber.

"Diana, someone needs to be disciplined." Aza said.

Ines remarked, "I believe so too. That someone has been acting too haughty."

"Well.. I can't deny the truth that is lying in front of our eyes. Can I?" Diana didn't dare to disagree with the two most intelligent and smart girls among their group.

Aza had finished her coffee and was working on her phone. Going through her mails and important messages.

While doing this, she found a dm from her master. She clicked on it, and the chartbox with her master opened up. The message was written in Morse code and modified in a way that after it was seen by the receiver, it would get deleted on its own and can't be restored back.

The message said that she needed to make a group on their website with the rest of team members for the mission and add him there.

Since the mission was a month away, they must have to be aware of the needed information and the easiest way in less time to do so is to share the data in the group. Having to do it individually would take longer. And when she replied back affirmatively, the message evaporated just like the water into vapours. She exited the chat box and turned off her phone.

"I will get going. I'll be adding you all in a group. Don't message in it until I ask you to, as the group isn't the place for tittle tattle. It's related to the mission. I had told you before." Aza left them and went upstairs to her room.

She switched on her laptop and entered her password. The screen turned black before it said, 'Welcome to the DARK web, Shadow."

Shadow was her pseudonym. When she told her master about it he had asked her, "Why shadow? I thought you would choose something like Queen of Evil? Angel of Darkness? Darkness?"

When she questioned him back on why he thought like that, he told her that it was she who always loved talking about hell and darkness plus she was a girl too, therefore he thought she might name herself in such a way.

She didn't reply to him after that; however, to her misery, her master loved to act like a spoiled kid with her. So he spammed her chatbox until she asked him to stop it otherwise she would unfriend him. Aza was flabbergasted for the first time when she had to experience the unexpected childish behaviour from the highly regarded and most feared hacker of the world; her master who began to disturb her. Mostly he would message her and ask her what she did for the whole day, initially she thought he was worried for her but she was proved to be wrong when he began to be clingy with her. Although he didn't make her feel uncomfortable with his messages, rather she was annoyed since he won't stop till she replies to him and as it was sent through the DARK web connections even though she would turn off her internet. The message would still be received and the other side would come to know that the message had been delivered safely as indicated by the flickering of a white light on the sender's screen. The purple light would be used for when the message had been read by the receiver's end. It didn't happen to all, only when the higher ranked member messages the lower one. The flickering would be felt by the higher one yet the lower one would only see small ticks on their messages similar to Whatsapp.

Also the seniors could check when their juniors were online.

Aza made the group and she firstly added her friends and her master. Later she messaged him for the ids of the rest of the 5 members.

Her master's reply came immediately, though she expected that. His replies would reach her just when she pressed on the enter button or sent.

She added them to the group.

All of the members of the DARK web had been provided with the top notch security. They don't have to worry whether their real identities would be revealed or leaked. The DARK web takes strict and instant actions on these matters since it is one of their main priorities.

Her master messaged to explain to them the reason behind this sudden group making.

Master : Since the mission is a month away and during this time, I want you to all get to know each other formally. Get used to your team members. Remember 'Teamwork makes dreamwork'. You all will be getting the mission related material along with information details in this group only. No chit chat here. I don't want to lose my eyesight. Also I don't want to hear any complaints from anyone about anything!! All of you are legal adults and grown ups, so act and behave like that. None of you is in playschool. Another important thing, if you have a query or a doubt, just ask your team leaders here and they will answer you. They will help and navigate you.

As a leader, it is their job to take care that none of you feels neglected.

___________

After Rev was done with talking to his mother, he cut the call and walked back inside the living room. He saw his friends quarrelling again.

He let out a breathy sigh, with silent steps sat on the couch.

'They are so into their quarrel that they didn't even notice me.'

The boys were arguing over the fact that Zeki must be hiding something from them. While in all honesty there wasn't anything like that.

"Why are you putting up such an allegation on me?" Zeki argued.

Caleb shushed others and said, "If it's not that then care to tell us why you have been a stranger since last week?"

"Huh, what do you mean? Me, a stranger? I can't really understand." Zeki wondered why he was being targeted by his own friends.

This time Xavier motioned the other two to keep their mouths closed, "Zeki, Caleb was simply asking you the reason for your unanticipated change."

"Change, what changed? Why can't you all put it in a simple and precise manner?"

Zeki was close to grabbing his own hair and pulling them harshly.

Bryan gave him a tight smack on his back, "You ungrateful idiot, we were only asking about why you were silent for the whole last week. You didn't ask us whether we went to tag with you to the club. You never came out of your room on your own. You only left it when we called you for a meal."

"Damn you guys, making a mountain of a --"

Just then their phones pinged, altogether at once.
