Case Study

Aza woke up with beads of sweat glistening on her forehead and neck. Even in that situation, she had a serene look on her face. She slid out of her blanket and walked to the kitchen.

She took out a chilled water bottle from the mini-fridge and gulped it down.

"Yet another nightmare which I don't have any recollection of now." She massaged her aching forehead.

Her eyes landed on the wall clock, it showed past four in the morning.

She refilled the empty bottle and placed it back. She grabbed her exercise wear and changed into them.

The University Campus had a park constructed within the garden inside the University. The park had benches and running tracks.

Aza began to jog on the track. She had songs playing on her ear pods. She kept on running without a break. Whenever she felt overwhelmed or had any type of stress, her only resolve was sprinting. The cold and warm mixed breeze brushed her hair and caressed her skin as she ran along with the wind.

Those calming sensations had done wonders for her. Aza had problems when it was about herself, she couldn't decide what is good or bad for her. She always ended up in a maze.

Right now, she faced the exact dilemma. Her nightmares and the strange behaviour of Grace bothered her a lot.

After completing a few laps of the track, she increased her pace.

Aza believed that she was to run alone on the track hence she didn't cover her head with the hoodie.

Oh boy...She proved to be wrong when out of nowhere, a boy started to jog beside her. Aza turned her head to her right and saw the side profile of her uninvited guest.

'It's him again!!!'

The boy was Kaden. He wore black trousers and a black sweatshirt.

Kaden also looked at Aza who was sizing him from up to down with her enigmatic eyes. His breath hitched as she stared at him. During this eye to eye face-off, their running had come to a halt without them realising it.

Their staring game was prolonged for a while before it ended. All because of Aza's wristwatch timer going off. They both came out of their trance. Aza was the first one to break eye contact between them.

Kaden watched as Aza sprinted to her dorm room. He let out a chuckle as he recalled her flushing complexion.

"You are driving me crazy….My bunny…"

He ran a finger through his wet hair, messing it up altogether. He followed the silhouette of Aza until it faded away under the darkness of dawn.

He pulled out his earphones and ran to his boy dorm.

Sarah munched on her pancakes, "Athena where did you vanish in the early break of dawn?"

Others also directed their stares at her.

"I went for a morning workout."

Athena wiped off the remaining crumbles stuck to her lips. She drank her banana milkshake.

The girls swiped clean their plates. They gathered the dirty cutlery and put them into the dish.

Sarah washed her hands. She marched to Athena and gave her a pitiful look. Athena raised her eyebrows in puzzlement.

"I need your help."

Athena didn't say a word.

She let Sarah rant out before she told her whether she would help Sarah or not.

Sarah tugged at Athena's clothes, "I might have pranked ....Ziya…..I had mixed an after use black colour solution in her moisturiser."

The after use solutions were particularly famous among young kids. These colour solutions used to be manufactured by scientific formulas which made them difficult to get rid of.

The solutions appeared to be transparent yet after mixing it with any other liquid, they will turn to their original colour but it happened only when this mixed solution came into human contact.

Ziya and her minions had annoyed and created trouble for Sarah and her friends since the first day from that time she had decided to make Ziya's college life miserable. Therefore, one day when she saw Ziya's LV bag lying on her desk. Sarah stole it and added the after solution mix in her moisturising bottle. Then she put it back.

Sarah had forgotten about her prank on Ziya due to the mountain of her college work that she had to complete anyhow.

Athena unclasped her friend's grip and stuffed her notebooks into her black bag.

Sarah didn't hesitate and rattle out the full story to Athena.

"When Ziya had gone with her friends....."

By the time Sarah explained her tale, Athena sat down peacefully atop the bunk beds. She didn't interrupt Sarah.

While Sarah narrated, others also joined and heard her.

Grace cackled up when Sarah shut her lips and pleadingly gazed at Athena. Iris also chortled. Ivy didn't laugh like her friends which resembled the hyena's vicious laugh.

Iris concluded, "So to sum it up, Ziya is on the hunt for her offender which is our Sarah. And Sarah here is worried that Ziya would get her hands on her. Then Sarah would have to at most apologise to her or worse Ziya might ask the authorities to let her deal with Sarah in her way."

"Nooooooo...nooooo. I won't say sorry to that horrible girl nor would I do anything according to her wishes."

Sarah declared. She puffed out her chest in anger.

"You won't have to," Athena said.

The girl reached their classrooms and the professor came after shortly. Today they had a lecture on a case study regarding the history of Egypt. The students had to do their research about the past 200 years of Egypt. They also had to collect information and organise it.

Tasha cleared her throat, "Since this is the start of the new semester. I had planned many fun and interesting activities for you all in the need to understand and grasp things quickly. But activities doesn't mean you won't have any assignments, rather you would have to do both of them."

Students groaned as Tasha explained. Tasha could comprehend how most of the students had disliked her idea of activities, nonetheless, it didn't matter to her if they liked it or not. As she is their professor while they are her students. She was doing her job and the students had to cooperate with her voluntarily even if they had issues they still had to keep up their grievances in check.
