A 17 year old boy cried out in pain. It was almost time for the awakening ceremony of the young Gassendians. They still had 2 weeks to go before the awakening but for some reasons Vorden awakened before the day was due. His little brother, Lith ran to call their parents. They were training in ki-jitsu in preparation for the wakening. Lith was also preparing boecause the awakening could be done on children from the ages of 13-17. Both of them haven't experienced awakening before. Their father Davies Brimestone was building constructor. He possessed the Earth-art. He was A Max-Advanced Earth guda. With his outstanding talents he could have been a Supreme constructor but he preferred to keep a low profile and be just an Advanced constructor. Their mother Gamora Brimestone was also an Advanced Light mage. She possessed one of the Special tier elements, Light-art. The Brimestones actually is one of great clans in Gassendi but for some unimaginable reasons, Mr Davies got disowned by his family. His father was the head of the Brimstone Clan.
Davies got disowned when he married Gamora, Vorden's mum. She was then just a clanless young lady who had only an Average-tier family which consisted of her parents and her siblings. One of the rules in the Brimstone Clan was to intermarry among themselves. But Davies did not fall in love with any of the ladies in the clan but fell in love with the "street b**ch" he saw in town. From that day onwards,Davies fought with his family several times on leaving the low life b**ch but the stubborn young Davies paid no heed. The next 3 years, Davies got disowned by his father and family and he also married Gamora. Gamora could use only one god art in life that left her burden with Light-art but a barrier was put on Davies to stop him from awakening another god art which also left him with Earth-art. Davies like Vorden awakened before the real awakening which made him also a Pro-guda but with all the implications in his recent life he lost his innate talent which was Enhanced Earth Blessings. A talent which made him invisible whenever he was on land. He had the power to even cause an earthquake with just a wave of his hand. but he later lost it due to his father's stupidness and ignorance towards his son. He had been grieving all these years and praying for his boys to awaken stronger Arts so when Lith came to call him, Davies run like a cheetah to get to his son. In fact , he cast an Earth spell and carried Lith in order to reach the grounds fast. As soon as he got to his son,he couldn't help but make his tears slide down. His son has awakened as a Pro-Guda but one shocking thing was the two ultra flows of Art around him.His son was no Pro-guda but an Ultra-guda and he possessed two god arts. Vorden was still on the ground struggling to fight the pain. He couldn't even scream as his bones got broken and rearranged in the process...
.....Lith was also Vorden's younger brother. He was 13 years of age. Vorden was 4 years older than him. He loved Lith so much that sometimes he even failed to make friends whenever he moved to a new class. He even took beatings from bullies and teachers for his little brother which made many people envy them more. Lith also came to love Vorden to extent of telling lies for him whenever a teacher reported misconducts about Vorden to his parents which most of them appeared not to be true but just the teacher trying to get Vorden expelled....
Some people called it love but there is a greater secret to it than meets the eye.
-------------------+-+------------------------------------- Vorden was a slim, tall, tan skinned, average build boy with slightly long legs. He had short,messy,winter-grey hair stopping at the nape of his neck and a gorgeous chiselled face, with dark blue eyes and grey eyebrows. He could be considered as a pretty, handsome boy. He always had a calm look even when he was being bullied.Even some of his peers were envious of his beauty, that they deliberately bullied him and his brother just get rid of their handsome faces. Vorden's brother, Lith was no exception.
Lith was slightly shorter than Vorden. He had long, dirty blonde hair which was tied up in a ponytail with two fringes, a handsome angular face with dark brown eyebrows. He had tiger brown colored eyes. He wore gold rimmed circular glasses which made him extremely handsome. He actually liked smiling a lot just like their father and always jovial even in times of hardships.
...
Lith couldn't believe it. He nearly lost his mind. The once handsome boy who protected his brother with his life, the boy who managed to achieve the final stage of ki-jitsu and out of brotherly love, helped his brother to achieve the same feat. He had only a week to awaken his first god-art but out of some unexpected reasons,he was lying on the ground, looking like a badly transfigured zombie with fresh human flesh. He looked like a withered rose. He his eyes were hollow with only a small speck of light,a small speck of hope to hold on,to see his brother's face before he headed to the damn, death kingdom.
Lith couldn't even cry. It was as if all his tears had been drained from his eyes; like all his world had experienced the Big Bang.
...>>>>>>>>>>>>
"Dad!Dad!Vorden....Vorden is dying!!" Lith shouted. He almost tripped on the wastebasket as he ran into the living room. So far, from the shock, all what came out were sobs to express his emotions.
They lived in a bungalow-like house, reddish brown in color, full black roofing and white window frames. There was spacious area right in front of the house for their father to pack his black Toyota Tacoma. There was a slightly large backyard which was divided into two parts;one for a garden and a cobbled training ground. The smaller part was used for a small herb and flower garden whilst the bigger part was used for the training ground which Vorden and Lith were using recently. The was a short wooden fence dividing the garden and the training ground. The house was protected by a Light and Earth fusion wall and some Intermediate class Sand-spike hounds. They looked like normal hounds except for unusual pupiless light brown eyes and slightly bulging muscles.
"What happened! Where is he?!" their father, Davies cried out in panic and ran to meet his son. He tripped over the wastebasket, breaking his spectacles in the process. He unconsciously released his aura, nearly turning everything in the house to stone. He casted a primary spell,Earth Roll, and carried Lith inorder to reach the grounds faster. The scene which unfolded in front of them shocked them to the core, especially Davies.
...
Vorden lay on the ground, writhing in pain. He felt numb. He watched the grim, sorrowful, terrified face of his little brother and couldn't help but cry silently in his heart. He even tried consoling his brother just to find that he had been stripped of speech. He watched as his brother, Lith ran into the house almost tripping on the wastebasket. All of a sudden, he felt his numb body getting hot and cold at the same time. He saw a strange light encapsulating him. The light was deep black and white in color. There were some runic black-white designs on his body.
"What's happening to me? What's this strange but beautiful light?"
At once, the lukewarm feeling started getting stronger, radiating a strong energy and deadly aura. He could feel his skin burning and freezing at the same time but physically, nothing showed that he going through all that. As he thought it was going to endI because the light radiated a soothing sensation, his heart stopped beating or say it beat so fast for him to notice. He felt his bones start breaking and crushing, resulting in an unimaginable pain. He felt his organs exploding like firecrackers. His thick skull which was supposed to be protecting his kingly brain, shattered all of a sudden like broken glass. He could feel his now vulnerable brain, bursting. The pain was unbearable. He had the urge to die,the urge to be free from the pain but even Death was abandoning him. Looking at his situation,he was way beyond redemption. Even the Healing gudas won't be able to return him to normal if he ever happen to survive this sh**y tribulation. As he was grieving over his life, the black-white light suddenly shined brightly. A small, light beam penetrated his chest, aiming for his heart. He could feel the strength and aura the small, yellowish-white light possessed. He heard a small in his heart;an excruciating pain hit him. He screamed on top of his lungs. His eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets. He felt his bones growing and reforming, much stronger than the once feeble ones. The bones were taking back their original shapes and their positions in his body. The rate of his heart beat accelerated at insane speed. His organs grew back. His shapeless, destroyed brain also reformed. His thick skull enclosed itself, protecting his brain. The last stage,he felt his blood flow returning to normal. He felt his body inflating, taking its original form. Suddenly,he felt extremely excruciating pain. Even though he felt his strength returning,he still couldn't endure the pain. It was like being stretched by a Tyrant. He screamed in agony. The light around him started changing color and shined brightly. The deep black color changed to a pitch black, dark color and the white changed to a metallic snow white color. With you very scream, the light shined brighter. Like his screams motivated the light to keep on shining.
The runes on his body were shining even brighter than the light. He gave one last, weak utter when couldn't take it anymore and looked up when he heard a hoarse voice;just in time to see two shining flies enter his body;one entered his mind and one entered his heart. One dark black and metallic snow white.
He felt unconscious after that.
......
Davies and Lith stared in shock at what was happening to Vorden. Vorden's twisted body was going back to normal. He was still screaming in pain, causing the light around him to shine brighter. What was shocking was, they couldn't hear his screams. It was like a silence dome was around him. They had seen him become twisted within a few minutes but now his body was back to normal.
Davies couldn't comprehend the fact that his son awakened as a Pro-guda and looking at that strange light, he could see that Vorden was more than a Pro-guda. He had awakened as one of the legendary Ultra-gudas; actually the second Ultra-guda. An Ultra-guda awakens two god-arts on his or her first awakening. It was also possible for them to awaken two arts as they advance but no one was able to prove that. The first Ultra died or vanished misteriously.
The light around Vorden was pitch black like an endless void and a metallic snow white color. One surprising thing was, they couldn't get close to Vorden. When they try getting close, the light shines brighter, blinding them for a few seconds. Suddenly they saw the light fading. The fading light started forming two "flies" and started flickering. One was pitch black and the other was metallic snow white.
Davies looked at Vorden in shock.
"Dad, what is happening?" Lith had noticed the confused but confident look on his father's face instead of panic.
"Your brother has awakened" Davies answered somewhat excited.
Lith looked at the now unconscious Vorden and felt tears flowing down his cheeks. His brother has awakened. One of the dreams of his brother;to awaken, become strong and protect his loved ones especially his only brother, Lith.
Lith understood what was happening. Vorden has awakened as a Pro-guda, a guda who awakens before the normal awakening time without the help of the Awakening orbs. They were very rare and sometimes considered very powerful and dangerous. However, his brother had awakened as one; truly, his dream has come true. Their father was also a Pro-guda but they didn't know except for their mother, Gamora. "But what's up with the two lights and what's with the slight change in their colors.
All of a sudden, the runes got brighter. The two "flies" entered Vorden's body, one into his heart and the other into his mind. The light from the runes started fading along with the light shield. Davies and Lith could see some changes in Vorden as he was recovering rapidly but that wasn't enough to make him wake up from the stasis he was currently in. According to the Guda-script, an newly awakened guda will be in stasis for at least four days.
"Vorden will be unconscious for about four days. You will have to complete the last stage yourself. With the early awakening, looking at the pain he went through, he has already completed the last stage of ki-jitsu and will only have to stabilize the power from his art.
Davies cast Earth Roll again, this time, manipulating its form to look like a huge casket to carry Vorden. He made a stone path leading straight into Vorden's room and carried him there. He made sure to cast Earth Hollows, one his innate spells which helps him to hear sounds through the Earth in Vorden's room.
Actually, the Earth Hollows is part of his innate talent which helps him to dodge ambushes and others. Another, is the compatibility with all kinds of Earth power, that is, Stone, Rocks, Mud, Sand etc. The only part that was sealed is the ability to control the Earth like a god. He didn't even need Spirit-rank or Soul-rank elemental orbs to strengthen his god-art.
.........
"Where am I? What's going on? What's this dark space?" many questions drifted into Vorden's mind as he couldn't recall where he was or what had happened. He was slowly drifting in space towards a pair of gates. The gates were translucent with some sort of shining runes on them. The gates had appeared out of nowhere. As he got closer, he felt something calling out to him behind the gates. He finally got close enough to open the gates. He stretched out his hands and pushed the gates open to reveal a whole different world. A blinding light enshrouded him. The light slowly faded to reveal a huge kite structure. He recalled his tutor's description of the Spirit Realm of a guda.
The Spirit Realm:a huge, translucent, glowing kite structure which contained six small kites. The kites were arranged in simple but complicated pattern;two kites in the middle separated by a long, transparent, glowing vein which also splits out to connect to the other four kites located at the four corners of the huge kite. The connected veins come together to form a kite shaped diamond figure. There are also faint wisps of something called Lineage energy at the pointed ends of the main kite, that is the Spirit Realm. These faint Lineage energy wisps grow brighter gradually and connect to awaken something called a Bloodline which is very unique to a guda. Even though it is common for different gudas to awaken the same Bloodline, some also awaken special, rare or unseen bloodlines. Any guda can awaken his or her bloodline but some unlucky ones fail to awaken their bloodlines. The small kites are also called Artims containing different arts that the guda awakens. Three of these artims contain the main god arts while the other three act as extensions for the god arts. The artims helps the guda to cast spells and also control the art energy of the various god-arts he or she awakens.
This was basically the same thing he was seeing. It was as his tutor had said but on closer look, something was different in his own. Only one artim was shining brightly which meant he had awakened an art. Vorden had realized he had awakened as a Pro-guda and he was very happy but he was confused as to why the artim was having two different colors;a pitch black color and a metallic snow white color.
He then remembered seeing the same colors when he was being tortured by who-knows-who. He remembered seeing a deep black color and a white color which meant one thing;he had awakened the Shadow and the Transfiguration arts but it later changed to the pitch black and metallic snow white color. According to his tutors, some people possessed something called Innate talent, which they gain together with their first awakened art. His father, Davies was an example of such people. So he guessed the change in the colors meant his so called Innate talent. As for the two god-arts, he will look for answers later. He entered the only accessible artim and saw the unexpected.
Inside the artim were eight rectangular figures connected by faint, glowing veins surrounding an oval shaped diamond. Very thin, veins were projecting from the diamond connecting to the rectangles. The rectangles were known as the artflow which were in pitch black and metallic snow white colors respectively. Four of the rectangles were pitch black and the other four were metallic snow white. The veins connecting them were also known as the art energy which the color of their respective artflows connecting to the diamond. The veins connecting the various artflows together also had two colors each;pitch black and metallic snow white. They had the design of the color of a zebra's body, stripey. As he looked in astonishment at the design of his artflow and art energy, the pitch black and metallic snow white color of the artflow and art energy slowly shrinked in size to size of a dot. The art energy and the artflow slowly took on the original colors of the Shadow and Transfiguration arts, deep black and white. He confused for a second but gathered himself as he knew he would understand everything very soon when attended the school of gudas, the great Alpa Institution. All the pain and torture he went through prove well. He now understood that he was actually awakening but he still had some doubts in his mind as he noticed a small star on the diamond. Was there something more to his awakening? Was his awakening special in some way? What did the star mean?"Sir Bronks didn't mention any star in ones Spirit Realm.
After a brief tour in the Spirit Realm,he noticed his body slowly fading away....
Vorden forced opened his heavy eyelids and saw a dirty blonde haired boy sleeping on his chest and a Dark grey haired man sleeping in a chair beside his bed. The other boy's face depicted stress and tiredness and the man's face clearly showed anxiousness and happiness. He was more than happy to see them. They were his brother,Lith and father, Davies. The blonde haired boy slowly raised his head as he noticed some movement under him. The tired face of the boy was filled with joy and shock giving Vorden the fright of a lifetime. The man also woke up slowly and stared at Vorden in shock. Vorden couldn't control his laughter as he looked at his father and brother behaving like chimpanzees who had seen a snail for the first time.
.........
Lith was overwhelmed with fatigue from training for four days and finally breaking through the last stage of ki-jitsu but he still insisted on looking after his brother as their mother was still away and is most likely to return the next day. Davies also came into the room as he didn't have anything doing at the time. He had already asked for permission to skip work for a week in order to look after his awakened yet static son. He was looking forward to seeing Vorden waking up. As he got into deep meditation,he couldn't help but feel anxious. "Will he even make it? Will he be able to get out of stasis?"Davies asked himself as started meditating.
Before he entered his Spirit Realm,he caught a glimpse of Lith collapsing onto Vorden's chest out of tiredness. The guy really loved his brother.
Lith opened his eyes when he felt movement under him. He got up and stared wide eyed at Vorden. Vorden had woken up. He was fully recovered. His gorgeous face was more beautiful than ever. Lith couldn't help it but stare at his brother.
"Mmmm.Vor.....vord.....!" Davies also woke up and saw Lith staring wide eyed at Vorden. He couldn't help but do the same. It was a little weird but hey, Vorden made it. His son is now a guda. It was the best day ever. He just couldn't express his joy.
Vorden burst out laughing at the two. They sure looked funny with their expressions. As he was still laughing, they heard hurried footsteps up the stairs. A silhouette of a woman appeared at the doorway. The woman had long, blonde hair that reached her small waist. She looked gorgeous in her short, crystal yellow dress. A perfect hourglass figure with perky buttocks and average sized bust. Deep blue eyes like Vorden's. A tall, slightly muscular man rose from his chair and stared at the beauty. She was the angel of his heart. His one and only love. The man had dark grey hair, tiger brown eyes,a handsome face with thin sideburns connecting to a goatee and shaped mustache. He was insanely handsome. They were truly the parents of Vorden and Lith.
"Gamora??" Davies blurted out.
"Mum??" Vorden and Lith said in unison.
It had been a long time since they had seen their mother. She was happened to be on a mission in the Dark Rotary. She was a mage-guda,the only Advanced Light guda in Hadzou, Marcea.
She stared at Vorden unable to utter a word. Her mission was finished. She felt her son's pain a few days ago when she and her group were near completion. Huh,a mother's love. She came home as soon as possible to her son well and kicking.
She recovered from her shock and ran into the room. She hugged Vorden tightly and showered him with kisses at the same time.
"Mum. I am now a guda. I have awakened." Vorden exclaimed happily after he freed himself from the kissing tiger. He was covered in lipstick making him look red.
"I know my darling. I can feel the changes in you." Gamora replied.
She also dragged Lith into a tight, kissing hug and lastly, Davies in a long kiss.
That evening, they celebrated Vorden's successful awakening with 4 boxes of pizza, and some other ordered delicacies from the Fromes restaurant near their house.
Afterwards, they gave some tips to Vorden into stabilizing his artflow as he was clearly a lot stronger than most gudas because of his double arts and his title as a Pro-guda. He clearly told his family about the double arts: Shadow art and Transfiguration art he had awakened.
Lith will also be awakening in a week's time so they had plenty of time to spare and catch up with each other.
.........
In Demurral,a young boy had also awakened as a Pro-guda.
PS:Made some changes.
