Chapter-47

[A/n: Should I start naming my chapters???]

Tossing the small shell in her hands, she pondered over how much luck she had been granted in this life.

'*Sigh* I can't believe that there's a dial that helps us keep our privacy to ourselves and not share it with Enel.'

Smiling a little, she wondered just what she was going to tell all her friends back on the ship.

Soon she had reached the area, she didn't see Nami but everyone was a little tense. She guessed that they had found out something.

'Did something already create a butterfly effect here in the series?'

"What happened?"-Y/n

"We're going to go rescue Nami and clobber up a god."-Luffy

"Alright."-Y/n

Conis and her father along some others looked shocked at Y/n not wanting any other information. It was as if Luffy had explained everything to Y/n in just one sentence.

'Well, don't they looked shocked. Of course I don't need any more explanation. Nami needs to be rescued and we need to kill... Ah, well not kill, defeat a god. That's all that matters.'

"Are we taking the ship? Where should we set course?"-Y/n

She put away the dials and tied away all her hair which was hanging loosely on her forehead.

[A/n: I apologize to all the bald people here. To all others, just imagine you have slight bangs.]

"We're setting course to god's island."-Luffy

"Alright! Everyone, on the ship now. We'll be setting sail. Grab everything you need."-Y/n

The captain had ordered and the crew went to work. Sanji packed up all their food, Chopper checked to see if they had enough medicines, Zoro and Ussop made sure the ship was in good condition while Y/n asked Conis about their location. Y/n was going to be taking the position of temporary navigator now that Nami had gone missing.

"Um... Y/n-san, are you sure you don't need to know anything more?"-Conis

"Of course not. Nami is in danger and we need to get to her as soon as possible. The captain has already given his orders so I don't need anything more."-Y/n

Conis looked at the crew and Y/n with admiration as she saw the trust and courage they had. But she wondered if Y/n would say the same things if she knew that they would be challenging a god. She wondered if Y/n would say the same things if she knew of the dangers to come.

"Y/n-san... You will be challenging god. You saw that lightning from before right? My father agreed to your friends suggestions about our god and..."-Conis

Conis had tears prickling her eyes as she remembered he father being taken away by the knight. She knew that he would be alright. They both would be alright as the knight had promised he would come for her soon enough but, she was still scared. No, she was terrified.

"That's it? We'll just be challenging a god? You don't need to worry Conis. We'll be just fine."-Y/n

Soon the knight came back to retrieve Conis with him.

'In canon he had taken both Conis and her father with him. Was it because Conis wasn't a 'threat' needed to be eliminated this time? But why didn't Enel kil- Er... Try to kill her with her father? Maybe because she hadn't tried to defy him then. Huh. Well, it's not like things have changed much at all. We're still going to be fighting Enel and his 'army'. Well, the shandians too for a while.'

"Alright, let's set sail boys and my dear ma'am."-Y/n

Robin chuckled a bit hearing that and everybody set sail to god's island.

The atmosphere had slowly become a bit tense on the ship. From what Y/n had gathered from everybody talking, Nami took the waver and went up to God's island and there have been a lot of people saying that she may be dead by now. The main reason why Luffy got worked up was because the so-called god attacked Conis's father when all he did was admit that Enel was... not a god, one could say.

'We should re-group with Nami first and then I'll tell them that Enel has his gold in that temple thing. Do we even need the other information, like the ordeals or whatever they were called? Priests I think? Ah whatever. We're going to beating all their asses anyways. It doesn't really matter to Luffy so I shouldn't be bothered either.'
