..After Ten Years..

Ten years have passed after Aaron unsealed his power. It was such a big adventure, but all that left was memories.

He woke up early in the morning. As usual, he opened his room's window, the cold breeze made him fully awaken. Then closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

He is now 31 years old, his face became more mature. He is no longer that reckless boy who lacks confidence in himself. He is now the most powerful monster in the Land of the monsters.

- Close the window and come back to the bed, today is a Holliday.

Said Diana while covering her head.

Aaron put his hand on her while smiling

- Wake up dear, there is a lot to prepare for today's event.

- Please, let me sleep for a little bit, I'm tired.

At that moment a little boy and a girl break into the room and ran towards the bed.

- FATHER! MOTHER! WAKE UP...

- Hold on, Annie and Dave, your mother wants to sleep more.

Annie was nine, she looked exactly like her grandmother with that blond hair and blue eyes, while her five years old brother has his mother's silver hair and his father's brown eyes. He was a mixture between the two of them.

Diana suddenly removed the cover and stood while looking pissed. Her short silver hair was messy. She cut it after giving birth to her second child Dave.

- It is all your fault, you didn't let me sleep a wink last night.

- What should I do if a beauty like you was sleeping beside me.

She sighed while fixing her hair:

- I can't win over you, can I?

Then she hugged her children:

- You must be hungry, let's prepare breakfast.

Aaron changed his clothes, then he went to help his wife in the kitchen. Not after too long, the door knocked.

Annie the big sister went to open the door:

- Grandmother, grandfather! You come, we are waiting for you.

Anna and Alan were invited to have breakfast with the family.

They got older, most of their hair became gray while wrinkles appeared on their faces.

Alan held Annie and lifted her.

- You grew up so much.

Diana welcomed them

- I'm happy to see you. Come on, let's go to the kitchen. Aaron is preparing breakfast for everyone.

The happy family gathered around the table:

- So, what's new in the town, Aaron?

- Well, a lot of tourists have been visiting the town. This year we broke the records.

- Good, what about the campus?

- It will be soon finished and ready for the next year. Monsters won't have to travel abroad to study anymore.

Anna held her son's hand:

- I can see that you have been doing well, making you the leader was the best choice your father take.

- But The responsibility is too heavy, if Tarou was with me it will much easier.

- Do you think that he will come this year? We didn't see him for three years. Asked Alan

- He sent a letter saying that he will come with his family.

- I hope he is doing well, I miss him very much.

After breakfast, the preparation for Annie's birthday started. Anna helped Diana in backing while Aaron and his father took the children and went for a walk into town.

Everything changed in town in the past ten years. The old wooden houses became luxurious houses. There were electricity and water in every house. The monsters seemed to live like humans, their dependence on their power started to decrease day by day.

Aaron was proud of the development that happened to his town and the monsters, but at the same time, he was worried.

- Father, did you think that I did a good job?

I feel like something went wrong at some point.

- It is good to be open to humans and to use their brilliant inventions to facilitate our lives, but we must always remember that we are monsters. Power is a part of our life that we can't deny or there will be no meaning for us.

- I know that you are worried, but today is your daughter's birthday. Relax and have fun, we will think about it later.
