The Mysterious Sands

Dylan kept watching Laila for some time while she was playing with Annie.

" She doesn't look like a bad person! I'm very confused. Was it because I already like her that my judgment about her wasn't right? Anyway, I shouldn't rush into my decision. I'm sure that, sooner or later, what she has been hiding will be revealed. "

- DYLAN...DYLAN...I'M TALKING TO YOU! WHY ARE YOU NOT RESPONDING?

- Oh, Aaron. I'm sorry, I was thinking about something. What were you saying?

- What is our next step? We have the clue with us, but we still don't know how we will use it.

Dylan tried to forget about Laila and focused on the mysterious sands.

- So, we have four colors. White, black, red, and golden. What are those sands supposed to do?

- Do we have to put them in a specific place? Like we did with the Nile waters.

- Probably, but where? There are a lot of monuments here!

- Isn't there another clue about their places?

- Another clue?....

Dylan took out his notebook and started reading the previous clue that appeared to them at the Parthenon.

- " You, who used the source of life to find the key. You can't give life until you face death. "

- What is this supposed to mean? I still didn't get it.

- Until now all the clues were related somehow, maybe the answer to our question is in these words.

Dylan kept reading those words over and over again.

Suddenly Laila screamed. She looked terrified while pointing at the chamber:

- What's wrong?

- I...I SAW LIGHT COMING OUT FROM THAT CHAMBER. IT...IT IS A GHOST, I'M SURE OF IT

Dylan sighed:

- I told you that I made up that story to tease you.

Laila covered her face:

- No, I'm certain of what I saw. There is a ghost in that room.

- Calm down. We are all here around you, nothing will happen to you.

Laila stood up and was about to run away:

- NO...I SAW IT WITH MY OWN EYES. I'M LEAVING THE PLACE.

Dylan held her:

- Stop panicking, I will go check it for you.

He and Aaron headed towards the chamber, they entered the room while holding a fire torch.

- See I told you nothing is here.

When Dylan was about to leave, he suddenly grabbed Aaron from his hand.

- Stop!

- What's wrong.

Dylan got closer to the tombs and started checking them.

- You, who used the source of life to find the key. You can't give life until you face death. "...Face death!

- What is it, Dylan? What did you find?

- The clue said that I must face death to give life. what if it means that we must face dead people?

- Like those people in the tombs?

- Exactly.

- But how?

Dylan started removing the dust that was covering the tombs.

- Aaron, call for Sarra and Laila to help us. We must clean all the tombs.

Laila refused to join them at first, but when they told her that Dylan found something. Her curiosity overcame fear:

- What should I do?

- Remove the dust, quickly.

Laila stuck to Sarra in case anything happens and helped her clean the tombs. After some moments, they finished.

Dylan noticed small circles on the four small tombs' heads, they all were in the same place and have the same size. While the biggest didn't have anything. He checked them carefully:

- They look like some sort of a plug!

He tried to remove them but he failed.

- Aaron you try it.

Despite his great power, Aaron, hardly, managed to remove the plug.

- This is weird!

After removing all the plugs, Dylan brought the sands.

- I think we found the right places where we should put the sands. We have four tombs and four colors. But which color should we put in each tomb?

Aaron put his hand on a tomb, then he hit it while using all his power.

- WAIT, AARON! YOU WILL DESTROY IT!

- No, these tombs are not normal.

After several hits, a cover has been removed and black color was shown. The whole tomb was in black.

- I think you should put that black sands here...
