KAI'S LIPS CURL UP INTO A SMILE, AIMED AT HER.

"Don't listen to him, Aubrey. If you walk out that door, you die." His smile washes off completely after those words come out.

Aubrey gets unsettled with Kai's deep stares on her.

"Aubrey! Go now!" Connor yells, turning around to glare at her this time.

She doesn't wait another second as she rises up on her feet, racing for the door; leaving her phone behind and running out barefooted. She doesn't run out because Connor commands her to, she runs out in an attempt to get away from them and find a safe place to hide. However, fate has other plans for this nineteen year old lady.

It is until she gets outside into the cold night, she notices she is underdressed but the adrenaline keeps her running for her life, away from the crazy happenings in her house.

In a messed up mental state, she is screaming and running down the street for help but someone comes up from behind and grabs her. Not caring who it is, her yells increase in volume as she begins yanking around for her freedom.

If she thought the break-in on Friday was scary, it is absolutely nothing compared to what she is experiencing at the moment. She cannot even think; her first instinct is to run for safety. She continues yanking her arms and screaming loudly as she tries to be freed from the arms.

"Would you be quiet?" An arrogant female voice sounds in her ears and Aubrey immediately realizes who it is. She flips Aubrey around to face her. "You have to come with me now."

Aubrey's teary eyes show complete confusion as she asks, "What?"

The female's voice being Gemma's grabs Aubrey by the hand and begins pulling her towards the grey car. Her eyes widen, realizing that she may be getting into double trouble by getting into the same car that kidnapped her in the first place which started all of these complications. To her, it is like going back to that same mistake twice and that's one thing she is never going to do.

She stomps on Gemma's feet, causing the black-haired to halt and turn her furious eyes to the scared girl. There is silence between them for some seconds and that makes it possible for Aubrey to hear the chaos looming inside of her apartment; which includes the sound of glass breaking, bodies slamming hard against the wall. She can also visibly see the fast-moving images from the window and it gives her a panic attack.

The feeling of the ground shaking makes tension rise within her, so she turns back to Gemma as she raises her foot and kicks Gemma's legs hard. That causes Gemma to let her go and Aubrey takes the opportunity to flee, running in the opposite direction.

The night air causes her brown hair to move over her face but it does not prevent her from racing for her life. Suddenly, something appears in front of her, forcing her to stop in her tracks with wide eyes and a throbbing heart. It so happens that the figure blocking the girl from running is Gemma, who has materialized out of thin air. "I hate stubborn people."

Before Aubrey can turn back to run in the other direction, Gemma grabs her head, pulling her long hair back and hitting her on the face. The pain doesn't register in her mind as she slowly blacks out, falling to the ground.

AUBREY JOLTS AWAKE, her heart beating fast and sweat trickling down her forehead. She soon gains full consciousness of her environment as she expeditiously sits up on the big bed, her wide eyes scanning around her.

Her breath comes out in heavy folds as she blinks her terror-filled eyes at the pretty scenery. She is not sure if she's still dreaming as she watches the beautiful ocean. For seconds, she stares blankly at the waves hitting waves, causing a calming sound to erupt, then she tilts her head. If it wasn't for the floor-to-ceiling glass window, she would have thought she was outside, right in front of the blue ocean.

The view of the peaceful ocean is one of the things she has hoped to see before she leaves Earth; there's something about the ocean that makes her feel unreasonably calm. A small smile slowly begins to form on her dried, pale lips but she catches herself.

It takes only a few seconds for Aubrey to realize that this isn't her reality.

She slowly tears her eyes from the window and looks down at herself. Her legs are covered with clean white sheets, she is in a set of clothing that isn't hers and she begins to panic once again.

"Good, you finally woke up." A male's voice sounds and she jumps, turning her wide eyes to Connor standing by the door. "Have breakfast."

She follows his line of vision to see a tray seated beside her on the family sized bed. Her mouth parts open, trying to connect the dots and figure out what is currently happening. Her eyes scan round the room once more in anxiety; everything is purely white and with a few things in it; which only makes her sure that she is not at all close to her home.

"Where am I?" She pulls the covers off herself, turning away from the sumptuous breakfast.

"You have to eat first."

She gets up from the bed immediately, her feet coming in contact with the cold, white tiles but that doesn't stop her attempt. "I am going home."

She does not bother to know what part of the world she is in; all she wants is to get away from these crazy people. After all she has seen last night; from the crazy words spilling out of the dark-haired man's mouth, to the unimaginable materialization and the way the ground shook with each footstep they took, she does not even want to be 100 miles away from them, she wants to live in a different planet from them.

Just as she is about to walk past Connor and out of the room, he blocks her.

She is set on leaving and she will do whatever she can to get back to her home and brother but the more powerful entity will not let that happen.
