to you

SOME MONTHS EARLIER, after a successful date, they had both been taking a stroll down to the central park when Daniel explained how he lost his mother at the age of 11 in a car accident. It had been their third date, so it made sense to share private information with the other party.

The accident led to Daniel's phobia and pure hatred for the color red- blood and the color of the car. But why is he holding a red bag now? Even when they went shopping he doesn't purchase anything with a red wrapper.

He stares round the Café with a weary look that raises suspicion before he leans over the table and drops his voice low. "I didn't come to order. I came to talk to you." His expression slowly turns void and Aubrey recognizes that as his angry face. "Who is he?"

She shrugs the question off, "As you can see, I'm busy. If you won't place an order, I suggest you leave." She goes back to stacking cups on the counter, even if that doesn't need to be done.
