In attempt to get her toaster after it has been stolen, Aubrey accidentally entangles herself with the highest supernatural beings ever existed~ gods. 

These gods are dangerous, irrational beings, who have been banished for their sinful and diabolical acts. And they still remain atrocious in their actions when they find out the "missing piece" is hidden inside the body of a 19-year-old college student, Aubrey. This "missing piece" belongs to Kai— the highest god, the pure representation of evil who is incapable of emotions other than anger and grief. He wants to get reunited with his missing piece, which means he'll do anything to get closer to the girl. But his brothers and sisters are determined to hide Aubrey from him, so as to keep the missing piece safe, before Kai gets his hands on her.

Things start to go sideways as affection, greed and lust arises among the gods, especially when Kai's half-brother starts to fall in love with Aubrey.

Her emotions gets the best of her as she starts crying which disgusts Kai. "I hate this place, this tiny apartment, this town, this school. I hate it all. If you want to kill me, please do it now." She steps closer to him.

Hot breath rushes out of her mouth as she is enraged. She does not understand his pursuit. He wants her to suffer; he wants to toy with her life because she has something he needs. However, he wants her dead. So why won't he do it already?

"I will do what I want and whenever I want with your life." He says with a straight face. "So, eat well, sleep well and wait for the invitation."

And he is gone like he was never there in the first place.
