THE MORNING SUN SEEPS IN THROUGH THE WINDOWS OF THE LECTURE HALL, causing some of the students to shield their eyes away from the blinding rays. Aubrey, on the other hand, is seated far away from the window which gives her an advantage in putting her whole focus on the teacher in front. However, Aubrey barely listens to the old professor even if her eyes are trained solely on his lips.

The words of the teacher seem to be growing fainter the more she zones out of the class. The events and conversations of last night still plays fresh in her mind and she can't seem to get her mind off it.
