In attempt to get her toaster after it has been stolen, Aubrey accidentally entangles herself with the highest supernatural beings ever existed~ gods. 

These gods are dangerous, irrational beings, who have been banished for their sinful and diabolical acts. And they still remain atrocious in their actions when they find out the "missing piece" is hidden inside the body of a 19-year-old college student, Aubrey. This "missing piece" belongs to Kai— the highest god, the pure representation of evil who is incapable of emotions other than anger and grief. He wants to get reunited with his missing piece, which means he'll do anything to get closer to the girl. But his brothers and sisters are determined to hide Aubrey from him, so as to keep the missing piece safe, before Kai gets his hands on her.

Things start to go sideways as affection, greed and lust arises among the gods, especially when Kai's half-brother starts to fall in love with Aubrey.

<p>THE LONGER THE KISS LASTS, THE FASTER THE INJURIES HEAL UP. Kai takes his time to devouring her lips, biting her bottom lip as his hand goes to the back of her head, taking control of the kiss. Aubrey's lips move reluctantly for the first few seconds of their kiss but when Kai's teeth dig into her lip, she leans more into him and lets him take all.</p>

<p>A soft, breathy gasp leaves kai's lips with his eyes shut with pleasure. He moves his legs into the bed, gently pushing Aubrey back to the bed so that he can hover over her body. In the process of changing their position, Kai's lips do not part from Aubrey's. He continues kissing her softly, lightly sucking on her bottom lip as he savors the feel of her lips against his. He wraps his hands around her waist, pulling her body up to the headboard of the bed so she can rest on it.</p>
