In attempt to get her toaster after it has been stolen, Aubrey accidentally entangles herself with the highest supernatural beings ever existed~ gods. 

These gods are dangerous, irrational beings, who have been banished for their sinful and diabolical acts. And they still remain atrocious in their actions when they find out the "missing piece" is hidden inside the body of a 19-year-old college student, Aubrey. This "missing piece" belongs to Kai— the highest god, the pure representation of evil who is incapable of emotions other than anger and grief. He wants to get reunited with his missing piece, which means he'll do anything to get closer to the girl. But his brothers and sisters are determined to hide Aubrey from him, so as to keep the missing piece safe, before Kai gets his hands on her.

Things start to go sideways as affection, greed and lust arises among the gods, especially when Kai's half-brother starts to fall in love with Aubrey.

The Great and Lonely: Kai

THE SUDDEN OPENING OF THE DOOR CAUSES AUBREY TO SCOOT AWAY FROM KAI. She gasps loudly when she hears her brother's voice boom through the house and she tries pushing herself off Kai but the god refuses, pulling her back. The two fight themselves for a few seconds as Aubrey insists on moving away but wants to keep her in her spot and finish what they have started.

"Aubrey? We're home." Brady says, taking his shoes off as he nears the kitchen.

"Let me go, Kai." She forcefully whispers to the man standing in between her legs.

The god gives her a look before rolling his eyes and stepping away. Aubrey immediately jumps off the counter, Kai's hands falling off her in the process. She races into the Livingroom as she shakes off the nervousness to put on a smile, patting her cheeks to get rid of the redness.

"Oh wow, you both are here." She smiles at her brother before shifting her eyes to the beautiful dark-skinned girl wearing a green outfit with makeup on.
