In attempt to get her toaster after it has been stolen, Aubrey accidentally entangles herself with the highest supernatural beings ever existed~ gods. 

These gods are dangerous, irrational beings, who have been banished for their sinful and diabolical acts. And they still remain atrocious in their actions when they find out the "missing piece" is hidden inside the body of a 19-year-old college student, Aubrey. This "missing piece" belongs to Kai— the highest god, the pure representation of evil who is incapable of emotions other than anger and grief. He wants to get reunited with his missing piece, which means he'll do anything to get closer to the girl. But his brothers and sisters are determined to hide Aubrey from him, so as to keep the missing piece safe, before Kai gets his hands on her.

Things start to go sideways as affection, greed and lust arises among the gods, especially when Kai's half-brother starts to fall in love with Aubrey.

AUBREY INHALES, SITTING STRAIGHTER AFTER RICHARD'S COMFORTING WORDS.

"Aubrey, I don't exactly know what happened but I know that you didn't mean for whatever it is to happen. You're a good person, I can see that. Your brother probably just misunderstood."

Aubrey forces a smile, staring at the can of soda seated beside her. She will love to think that's the case but she knows that every single step and choice she took when it came to Brady wasn't a mistake. She deliberately chose Kai over her own Brother even when she said she wouldn't. "Yeah, a misunderstanding." She shrugs, suddenly feeling better that she has cried her heart out and spoken to someone. Then she feels embarrassed, "Gosh, I can't believe I just cried my eyes in front of you." She puts her hand over a face.

"It's oaky." He laughs out loud, "You do have a variety of emotions when you're sad— I've not seen anything like that before."

"Oh so, it was entertaining?" She attacks.
