In attempt to get her toaster after it has been stolen, Aubrey accidentally entangles herself with the highest supernatural beings ever existed~ gods. 

These gods are dangerous, irrational beings, who have been banished for their sinful and diabolical acts. And they still remain atrocious in their actions when they find out the "missing piece" is hidden inside the body of a 19-year-old college student, Aubrey. This "missing piece" belongs to Kai— the highest god, the pure representation of evil who is incapable of emotions other than anger and grief. He wants to get reunited with his missing piece, which means he'll do anything to get closer to the girl. But his brothers and sisters are determined to hide Aubrey from him, so as to keep the missing piece safe, before Kai gets his hands on her.

Things start to go sideways as affection, greed and lust arises among the gods, especially when Kai's half-brother starts to fall in love with Aubrey.

THE GARDENER SEEMS TO BE MORE TERRIFIED AND NERVOUS ABOUT THE CURRENT ISSUE THAN THE OTHER LOST GODS. And Zondani starts to find his sentences obnoxious. "I told you, Leonidas! I cannot run; I have nowhere to go, he would definitely find me there. He would find me wherever I go to." Zondani yells in frustration.

"Then we continue running so he can't catch us; it doesn't necessarily mean that we stay in one place. Staying right here where he knows you would be at is just plain stupid."

"Leonidas…" Zondani warns in her deep, low voice.

"If he is to look for you, this is the first place he would come to. Sitting here like ducks waiting to be butchered is what I don't recommend we do. We need to run now! Before he gets here!" The gardener yells at the top of his voice and the other three can see the pure fear in his eyes.
