In attempt to get her toaster after it has been stolen, Aubrey accidentally entangles herself with the highest supernatural beings ever existed~ gods. 

These gods are dangerous, irrational beings, who have been banished for their sinful and diabolical acts. And they still remain atrocious in their actions when they find out the "missing piece" is hidden inside the body of a 19-year-old college student, Aubrey. This "missing piece" belongs to Kai— the highest god, the pure representation of evil who is incapable of emotions other than anger and grief. He wants to get reunited with his missing piece, which means he'll do anything to get closer to the girl. But his brothers and sisters are determined to hide Aubrey from him, so as to keep the missing piece safe, before Kai gets his hands on her.

Things start to go sideways as affection, greed and lust arises among the gods, especially when Kai's half-brother starts to fall in love with Aubrey.

AUBREY'S FACE CRUMBLES IMMEDIATELY when she notices how Harper's body freezes immediately in between her and Joe. Even from the look on Joe's face, the brunette knows that something awful has taken place in a second.

The young redhead had run in between the knife and Aubrey without reason, scared that her two closest friends would end up in situations that they won't be able to live in. She was afraid Joe would kill Aubrey, the girl she enjoys hanging around. She was scared that Aubrey would try to fight back and that would end up in one of the other's deaths. In fear and shock, Joe quickly pulls the knife out of Harper, scared to have the murder weapon still inside the girl she swore not to hurt. Immediately the knife is out of Harper, she falls to the ground and starts to vomit blood.
