Chapter One: Mysterious Man

Valenzuela City,

Knight National University,

June 21 2021, 10:45 a.m

First Day of College,

Zykyle commute to go to his University, after arriving he go straight to his designated room (Room 406 AB1) while entering the Accountancy Building One, he heard someone calling his name, he remove his earpiece,

"Zyke!!! Zyke!!!!" He look back then he saw her friend in Senior High School,

ZyKyle "chylsea?, what are you doing here?, I don't know you are going to study at this University, you said you are going to study abroad" he is shock and also happy.

"by the way what is your course, it seems you are an Accountancy student too?"

Chylsea slightly smile and said,

"Yes, and so are you?."

"Yeah! I'm BSA too,

She "by the way where is your room", while anticipating his answer,

"Room 406 how about you?" Smiling

" hmm... 405" she slightly become sad,

Zykyle notice and said " dont worry I'm just in another room Chyls, we can meet and hang out togethere beside both of us are in the same University and at the same course ."

She regain his smile a little bit " Yeah, thats okay atleast we can hang out if we have a free time."

While going to elevator they see a bunch of people waiting suddenly,

Chylsea " how about we take the stairs, there is so many people waiting for elevator"

" Okay, lets take the stairs"

They take stairs and , When there in fourth floor, while walking towards to there room

Chylsea mumuring to herself" should I ask him what happen that day, if he is okay and also...". she shake her head "I think this not a right time to ask him about that".

Before entering the room.

Zykyle,"Chylsea can we meet after school"

"Why"

" I want to talk about something with you, what time your class end?."

"8:00 p.m, how about you?"

"7:30p.m , my class end first so i'm gonna wait you, lets meet in the South Gate of the Campus." while smiling but nervous inside.

She wave and lastly give a hand gesture of cheering up in korean "Okay, bye bye hwaiting" she turn around and her smile fade away, her face looks so worried.

And Both of them entering there room,

Zykyle enter the classroom and no one is there because he is 30mins early.

At 2:30 p.m Zykyle first class end and his 1 hr break started, he try to glimpse Chylsea from the other room where he saw a professor are still lecturing, he walk away and take his break time.

After 5 hours, 7:30 p.m the class of Zykyle end then he immediately waits for her in the South gate, while waiting he crave for some street food on the other side of the street so he cross then buy a proven and kwek-kwek, Zykyle eating and patiently waiting for her, after almost 30mins of waiting, he finally see her. Zykyle see Chylsea trying to find him, he cross the street and slowly approaching her but suddenly many guys surround her and he is taken a back and immediately  leave the place.

At the same time Chylsea notice Zykyle walking away, she right away call him but he is too far to hear her, and she is sorrounded by many guys blocking her way,

Zykyle speaking on his mind,

"It will always be like this even in college I'm still don't have enough... , If I come to her while she was surrounded like that, the attention of the people will only turn on me,They all gonna think " who is that man", "who is that nerd and weird guy", "he seems like an outcast to me". " he looks so fat and ugly". their eyes will pierce me that telling that I don't have a right to be friends with her, because even I myself think she is totally out of my league."

Zykyle waiting in the bus stop while messaging Chylsea that he gonnna leave first,

In the text message,

" sorry Chyls I suddenly need to go home right now, lets talk on another time".

while waiting for the bus to come,he suddenly feel dizzy and her eye became blurry, he take off his glasses and try to wipe the lens and abruptly losses his balance and fall on to the ground.

At the same time Chylsea notice that there is a commotion in the Bus Stop, she immediately go there and find out that Zykyle is laying on the ground, She is in deep panic and she immediately call an ambulance then after few minutes Zykyle regain his concioussness and try to get up but Chylsea stop him and said

" dont get up, we should wait for ambulance to come, you need to go to a hospital."

"No need to go". Zykyle replied and try to get up again so she try to stop him but he got up and see many people around,

Chylsea " why you don't want to go to hospital"

" I think I'm fine now" he smile to her,

Chylsea yell at him," No!,you are not!!!! you suddenly fall down and lost conciousness again, that means you are not okay"

The ambulance  came quickly because there is an hospital nearby,

The Rescuer have a look to Zykyle but they don't see any problem because all of his vital is good and even Blood pressure The rescuer ask him if he wanted to go to hospital but he decline again,

Zykyle hurriedly get away from the crowd while walking so fast,

"Where are you going Zyke!?" Chylsea follow him,

When they are far away from the crowd,

"Zyke! Zyke! Zyke!" She grab his wrist and turn him around

"What is happening to you, why are you walking so fast? Are you  really okay Zyke?."

"I'm fine, can't we talk and eat somwhere else Chylsea." he smile again,

Both of them take a cab and go to a seaside cafe far away from the University. They enter the cafe and take a seat in the outdoor side,

9:10 pm at the Cafe

Chylsea ask in softly voice "why we need to eat here its so far from our home it takes us more than an hour, are you running away again like what you did back then?,Are you running away from people or just me??."

"No, why would I run from you, beside  I'm just not use to crowd you know that too right?"

"Well I know you are..., by the way why you want to talk after school and bring me in this old fancy Cafe?" She is happy and nervous at the same time, while Zykyle looks anxious like something bothering him, he sweat in buckets and looking everywhere he feels uncomfortable, Chylsea grab his hand and said

"why are you sweating so much, are you nervous? this is not the first time we eat together, do you still feel awkard with me??, we've been friends for so long still you are not comfortable with me" Chylsea feels zykyle seems unease about them being

together, she get up and walk away, then Zyke follow her outside,

He softly grab her wrist and said

" Chyls, can we just talk inside please?"

"Why you suddenly feeling awkward again with me all of sudden.., it seems like you are acting like before, we have been okay before we graduate right?

"Yess, We are okay..."

she abrupt him

"Then why I feel you are being uncomfortable with me again?",

"Im so sorry Chyls, lets talk inside please,.... please?." He is begging for her to come inside

"Okay," Chylsea seems disappointed to Zykyle,

"Thank you," he smiled with anxious feeling

Both of them enter and seat in the same place near the bay, they leave there bag and brought only important thing like wallet, they both go to the counter to buy some foods and drinks,

In the counter of cafe,

Zykyle,"Can we have two ice americano and one  slice of cheese cake."

Chylsea"Why you pick cheese cake, you don't like it, I remember you barely it eat last time?"

"Don't worry I can have some, beside it is one of your favorite dessert and it is one of their best seller".

Chylsea try to paid the bill but he suddenly stop her from giving the momey

"No, don't, its on me as a token of apology and gratitude"

"But we can split it....."

"Don't worry I just recieve my salary from my part-time that I can not take when I become.., you know unconcious." She began to calm down and his disapppintment to Zykyle is  subsiding,

Both of them sit outside the cafe near the sea where they can see the beautiful Prisnilà Bay, Chylsea is astonish about the sound of the waves, bright stars and moonlight reflected on water of the Prisnilà Bay, also the lights of the buildings from far away.

" how come you find this cafe, and its quite new, is it newly renovated?" Zykyle chuckles and smile "Do you like this place, I just found out about this place because of my Father, He said there is an old cafe that has been renovated, the cafe establish few years after the construction of the seaside road, but only few people know this place in the City, the people who know this place are most likely are people live near here and Motor Riders like my Father that uses this road to relax and watch a beautiful sea, most of the people from the City use expressway and main highway to go to Bulacan so this road is almost a ghost road , and there is no public transportion, so you need to take a cab or your own vehicle to get here, and he lastly said to me also that the cafe have a beautiful sunset"

She looks please to what Zykyle said,

"Thank you for broughting me here(she smile) ,Its so beautiful here and I like the view and ambiance of these café but its seems it become famous, there is so many people right now." She looks blissful.

"Maybe it become famous in the Internet, I brought you here because I know you gonna like here, a beautiful view and a newly renovated old café but the interior design is still Traditional."

"So what are you wanted to talk about?" She eat a piece of cake and sip a coffee.

"My mother said you look so  worried about me when I'm in hospital and coma for  one month, she said you visit almost everyday since the day they tell you that I am unconcious...., thank you for being my side Chylsea, Thank you so much...

"No need to thank me, I am grateful that you are okay right now."

"by the way Where is Xian do you know what he's doing, he does not reply to any of my text and messages?"

She suddenly look distressed and said "maybe I should tell you now..., you don't remember but the day people found you in the street it's the day when Xian went ....."

"Went what...."he suddenly feel dizzy again,

"Zykyle,are you okay??"

While stuterring "Threeeere hee iississs aagain a ma ....." he pointed at the rock near the sea,

Then suddenly a gun shot heard and the guard lay down on the floor,

After that a 6 man with a gun come in the door, one of the robber said,

Robber 1 shouted "Put your hands up and give all your belonging to us."

The customer and staff panic , and all you gonna hear is screaming and crying, people are scared,

Robber 2 shoot the gun up and point to the casher and said "hey you!!!!, give all your money open that cash register or I'm gonna shoot you!!!!"

The staff is trembling then the manager/owner come out and said calmly to the staff" open the cash register Mia give them all the money"

The robber are collecting all the customer cellphone, accesories and money on there wallet one by one, they go to the outside to collect too

Zykyle still feel dizzy then a robber came and try to take their belongings

Robber 2" you two give your item to us or I'm gonna shoot both of you."

Chylsea still focus to Zykyle, she is worried more about Zyke than anything else, she give all her item to them

"here take all of this just don't hurt us"

She give all her belongings,

The Robber looks at the accessories and all of it are expensive and see Chylsea wearing a luxury brand clothing,

Robber 2" wait you looks so beautiful and young and especially rich" the robber grab her arm and drag her inside,

Zykyle follow them inside even he still felt dizzy then punch the robber in the face,

He said " Don't touch her you pathetic HUMAN!!!."

The robber become mad then punch Zykyle so hard that he fall down, while he is lay down on the floor, robber 2 continuously kick him, zyke is about to lose his conciousness, Chylsea is begging to the robber while crying to stop what they are doing,

"Stop it!!! please stop it, you are getting him killed."

Then robber 2 stop kicking him and all the robber are laughing,

Robber 1 come while laughing "hahahahaha it seems you wanted to become a hero or a knight in shining armor for this beautiful lady nerdy kid, but you are too weak and fat also, why don't you just beg for her life by killing you, it will make this more entertaining, hmmm..like a romantic movie" then zykyle is mumurimg something in a very low tone,

"Im gonna break your bones then make you beg for your life, I'm gonna kill you all one by one and  make this entertai...." the robber 1 heard him murmuring something so  he smack him Hard then Zykyle loss conciousness,

Robber 1" You piece of shit!!!!" He spit on him

Chylsea "No!!! zyke! zyke! Wake up Zyke!!!"

Robber 2 grab her and give to Robber 1"lets go and take this girl to our base, i think we can  get some ransom money from her family." All robbers are laughing,

A few seconds later,

an earie feeling suddenly fill the air, all the people in the cafe feel the chill to there body down to there bone,

The robber see Zykyle is slowly standing,

robber 1 laugh then said,

"It seems you want more beating kid"

He let go of chylsea then punch through the face but Zyke evade it and caught his right forearm then broke his right elbow, the robber is screaming, he try to draw a gun but before he can point it, Zyke trip his leg and when he is about to fall he punch him right through her stomach and knock him in the floor, people hear the crack of the bone when the robber hit the floor,

The other robber look flustered to what they saw, because it happen so quickly

Robber 3 quickly react and said "shoot him shoot that bast...." but before he can finish his sentence he suddenly feel cold through her back then Zykyle twist his right shoulder and break his right leg from behind, the last 4 robber is in panic they try too shoot him but Zykyle is evading all the bullets swiftly,

Robber 4 "who is this guy how can he evade all the bullets, and why he is moving so fast" then Zykyle vanish all of a sudden

Robber 4 "where is he, where is that bastard?" Panicking and sweating in buckets

He suddenly show up right in front of him and break his forearm then get his gun and shoot the other two robber to their both thigh and he hit the neck of the robber 4 using the gun to knock him down then one robber try to get up while having a shot in the thigh but Zyke appear in front of him before he can fully get up and kick him hard that he flew away towards the Door and broke it, their is only one robber left standing and it is robber 2 he instantly hostage chylsea and point the gun on her head

Robber 2" Don't you dare move kid!!!! Or i'm gonna blow her head?"

But Zykyle appear and grasp the face of robber 2 and throw him that broke the table, the robber is slowly crawling to the entrance trying to escape but Zykyle approach him then stomp his left leg and broke it , he is screaming so loud then suddenly Zykyle stop stomping her leg then the robber began to beg for his life while in deep pain,

"Spare me, please spare my life i just have a family to feed." But then he stomp the other leg and break it too, The people in cafe here the robber scream that is so loud...

It suddenly Rain heavily, the whole place are fill of terror but not because of the robber or the thunder sound outside but it is because of Zykyle, they are so stagger about what they witness even Chylsea is so stun that she can't even say what he wanted to say, because it all happen so quick,

Chylsea force herself to shout to stop him,

"Don't do it Zyke, stop it right now."

Zyke is about to kill the robber by stomping its back,

While sobbing she again shouted very loud " Stoppppp it Zykeeee!!! Please stoppp!!!" all people are scared and crying, then unexpectedly the lights turn off, people become quiet in a second,

Suddenly Zyke fly through the glass window people overhear it, he is outside of the Cafe, Then A Man appear wearing a full black outfit of Mask, Cap and Denim Jacket. He run towards to the man then punch him to the face but the man  caught his right hand , instantly they are on the mountain near the coastal road, the man kick him and flew away to the tree

The Man "Its seems you are unconcious, but your rage makes your body move..." Zyke suddenly punch him but he completely block it, he seems shock

Zykyle continuously attack but it was evaded and blocked by the man "Hmmmm, I think I am wrong about you, and your attack are quite sharp" the man move back he put a distance to Zyke then,

"Let see whats you got,

Water Magic: Aqua Bullet."

A water bullet fire to Zyke but he evading it while using the tree around the area to block most of the water bullet,

"You move so calm and collective for someone who is  supposedly unconcious and angry, now I see you are ...." then suddenly Zykyle shorten the gap beetween them and hit him using all his might, but a water barrier appear and block his attack, upon contact a shockwave cause by the colloding force shake the ground of the mountain,

They fight continue up to 5 minutes then,

"Lets end this, it will become a headache if people notice and come to us, Water Martial Arts Technique:....." Zyke run towards him to attack again but the man move so quickly and appear in front of him....

"Water Palm Strike" the attack hit Zyke directly to his solar plexus then fly away towards a big rock, the rock slightly shattered, and he fall to the ground

Zyke are trying to stand up but he is feeling dizzy, and the blood is flowing from his head, he can't see clearly his eye sight are bit blurry,

The Man" it seems you finally back to your usual self, but you need to sleep again young man Water Magic...." but abruptly Zykyle fall down and loss conciousness,

"Now I just need to bring you down from this mountain" he sigh heavily,

Before he carry Zykyle he heal him that looks like a potion to stop the bleeding from his head, after that he bring Zykyle in the middle of coastal road near the Cafe, he leave him there, then after a few minutes a motorcyclist see him and immediately call for help,

10 minutes ago in Cafe shop,

The police arrived in the scene and arrest all the robbers later on the ambulance came too, the people are still shock and some are still crying, Chylsea is panicking and crying while trying to find Zyke in the cafe because after the light turn on he suddenly vanish and she can't find him, while pouring heavily outside people hear a loud sound coming from the mountain, all people startle about what they heard,

A police Captain arrived at the scene

He ask a police who arrived in the scene first and ask what is the present status of the situation,

Police 1 "Sir, almost Everything is okay the robber is apprehend and we are ready to take them to the police station"

Captain "Okay, bring them to the police station, I will question them later"

Police 1"Okay sir" the police is about to walk away but he remember something

So he stop,

"Sir I almost forget to report that there is a missing person some lady is trying to find her friend, she said her friend vanish after the lights turn off"

Captain "Okay, Ryan take some guy and find this missing person, it is more likely that guy is not too far away from this place, search also the mountain we heard some sound coming from there"

The Captain enter the cafe and search the whole Cafe,

After few minutes,

Ryan in the radio ,"Cap, the rain is so strong, also the mountain is quite steep and we can't see anything, the rescue officer also said this there is a high chance for landslide because of heavy rain so it is not safe to search to the mountain right now "

Captain"Okay, if it's too dangerous then just search the coastal road"

"Okay Cap,"

"Okay, just take care"

Manager are coming slowly and talk while stuttering "Officer they said you are looking for me?" The manager are still shock and shaking because of what happen,

"Are you okay?, Can I ask you a few question.?"

"Yes, sir..."

"Okay, then tell me what happen here, there is a bullet mark all over the place and some blood on the floor, but all the civilian even robber don't have a wound they just have a blood on there body,why?"

"Impossible!, the two robber should have a bullet wound I see it on my own eyes he shooted them.....?

"What are you saying,before I go here, I see six of them and they don't have any injury or wounds, thats why I send them straight to police station not to hospital."

Incoming call for Captain,

"What is it?"

Officer " some of the robber fainted we are going to hospital first before we take them to police station"

"What?, what are you saying.., okay just watch them carefully, if they escape we will receive punishment from the higher ups remember the media is aware of this and their are also a prime suspect of other robbery so be careful, okay."

"okay, sir"

He hung up the cellphone,

"Officer you are clearly mistaken, it is impossible that they don't have any wound, they are gravely injured and all the blood you see here, look officer all of it is a blood from the robber." The manager are insisting to the Captain that what he said is true,

"Okay if what you said is true then who is the one who made them badly injure?."

"I don't know who is it but all I know he is the one who save us all even he is far scary than the robber and also he is the one who is missing." The Captain shake his head and looks confuse,

After few a seconds

Police "Sir, they said there is someone who found unconcious in the middle of the coastal road near here and it seems that is the missing person that we are trying find."

He call someone,

"Ryan, where are you it seems they found the missing person."

"We are here sir but they already send him to the hospital with his friend ."

"Okay lets go to hospital, the robber are also there hospital maybe we can question them there"

In the hospital,

Chylsea is staying right beside Zyke in Emergency Facility, the Captain and Seargeant Ryan are approaching them

"Are you one of his acquaintances?"

"Yes, what do you need?"

"We need to ask him a few question, but it seems he is still unconcious."

Seargent Ryan appear,

"Cap, doctor said the blood transfusion is done, the robber just need some rest and then we can transport them straight to police station after a few hours."

"Where are them"

"This way Sir"

After an hour,

Valenzuela Police station

Captain Franco is questioning all the robber but no one is speaking, all of them are traumatized and still shock about what happen then Zyke and Chylsea appear at the station

Captain "You two come over here"

While approaching all the robber are shivering

Zyke " what do you want from me officer my friend here said I need to answer some of your question"

"Yes, there is something i need to know."

"why you suddenly vanish amidst the robbering"

"I am so sorry but I can't remember clearly what happen..., what I only remember was that i'm being kicked by the robber and someone smash me so hard"

"You clearly don't know why you suddenly in the middle of the road"

"Yes, I don't remember anything, sorry officer"

" That's all Zykyle, you are zykyle right, you may go now with your friend over there"

"That is all officer???, there are no more question" Zykyle looks confuse and even Ryan that are right beside them,

"Chylsea lets go it seems there are done

Questioning"

Cap" let me walk you two out"

"No its okay officer"

" I insist"

The Captain and Ryan walk them out

Both of them bow and said "Officer thank you and Goodbye" then they both walk out,

Ryan "Cap, Why you let him go that easily?, why you dont ask him about what the manager said to you or even question his friend"

Captain "Do you remember the incident occur last month?." He looks so serious

"What do you mean The Heneral Incident?."

"Yes, thats happen last month right"

"Huh.....Cap, why are you asking about that?."

"I am not sure but my instinct tell me that guy are the key to know what really happen there, I remember there is someone they find in the middle of the street near the location of the commotion."

"Yes, and after that there is a missing person right cap?."

"Yeah,Do you know who is the man in the street?."

"Don't tell me....."

"Yeah, that guy is the one who find unconcious on the street and the missing person is there friend name Xian, is it coincidence that he lost his conciousness in the middle of street twice when there is some big incident occur."

"Then we need to observe him and find some evidence for his involvement to this case and that incident."

"Yeah, thats we are gonna do, but first of all we need to know more about that guy, so we can collect more accurate evidence of his involvement from those two incident."

"So you let him go so he might let his guard down?."

"Yes."

"So we need to report this to our superior.?

"No, we investigate this case secretly, remember our Superior said that the National Security build a special team to investigate that incident, so we can't get involve with that case right now beside our superior also wanted to finish this case as quickly as possible."
