The only one not surprised by Killshot's words was Grimsight. Only he knew the reason for the presence of the 33 gods.

"One god for each world," Alex murmured slowly, trying to understand the reason. He tried to make sense of it, but there just wasn't anything to be made sense of.

"How does that work exactly?" Silvermist asked. "Do you assign a new god to govern one of the Immortal worlds? Even then, that doesn't make sense exactly, since not all worlds have a God in them."

Killshot shrugged. "Ask him the minor details. He can answer."
