The detective turned the key starting up the car's ignition

"Jack are you sure that you know exactly where he'll be heading to?" He asked Jack who looked at the detective before he pulled out a black Sony experia xz out from within his right pocket revealing a screen which was loaded up onto a tracking software that jack had created himself

"Yeah detective I'm sure enough, this tracking software will lead us right to him" Jack answered briefly "Well that is unless he takes the tracker off or my phone dies before we can get to him" The detective looked at Jack holding his gaze his curiously was as potant as the strongest cannibis strain yet

"So Jack how'd you get a tracker on him? you haven't been that close to his person's to get one on him and surely he'd have seen it coming" The detective asked Jack before Jack raised his left arm while letting his sleeve slide down his wrist revealing a hidden traser dart pack attached to the electro glove

"That's how detective, now no more question's." Jack said sternly as the Detective pulled out into the road

"Jack, what do you think your doing?" A whisper said from behind Jack "Fuck's happened to you man? You use to be a stone cold killer, the best in the entire world" it said before Jack glanced back to see the shadow from the book "You have a the ability and this pricks letting you kill Slick with no risk to your freedom, but yet you won't do it and you allow him to come along and get in the way" It said in a aggravated tone "Your a fucking pussy Jack"

"Nah bruv, I'm doing what's right and he needs the courpse, I intend to kill Slick but only for recking my home, now shut the fuck up before I put a bullet through you" Jack said as he loaded his silver magnum spinning the chamber

"Who you talking to Jack" the detective asked

"No one just a hallucination that won't leave me alone" Jack said before checking the tracker "Turn here and don't slow down and follow the red dot also sorry about your car" Jack said as he shot a electric pulse into the roof blowing it clean off the car "Oi Slick, we've unfinished business you prick!" Jack shouted as he shot a rount up into Slick's force field

"Oh look at what the cat dragged in, its the panzy were after" The shadow said as Jack chucked his gun down and shot a pulse up hitting Slick making him plumet to the ground below, Slick crashed into a house and stood up

"Oh first you steal my book and shoot me across the street twice but now you come for me more, YOUR DEAD JACKIE BOY!" He shouted before sprinting towards the car at a fast pace

"Right detective jump out the car now" Jack said as Slick approached them faster than the flash Jack jumped out of the car as slick ran into it, the car exploded killing the detective

"Ahh maybe your not a pussy Jack you single handedly pissed off a crazy mutant privk and killed a cop" The shadow said

"I thought that I told you to shut up." Jack stated as he fought Slick man to man

"Oh is the shadow talking to you already?" Slick said before throwing a car at Jack, Jack dogged the car shooting a electronic pulse stunning Slick

"Yep and he's fucking annoying. Now you prick what is it that you want this book fore" Jack said as he kicked Slick in his face "And cut the magic crap"

"Haha, you know it as well as I do that that book contains magic and it's power is way beyond your mortal understanding" Slick said as he spat blood out onto the floor in a crazy manner

"Nah Slick. You see I know what this book is and I know what you are and let me tell you this I'm way crazier than you are, you kill for pleasure and fun right?" Jack asked "I kill for no reason at all I don't find it fun using weapons like you do, I get the pleasure from using my bare hands and my teeth" Jack said as he picked up slick by the throat and digging his finger nails into his jugular. Slick chocked and gasped for air

"There's no... No way... That you can... Can kill me... Or weaken me... What are you?.." Slick said as his vision started to go blurry

"I'm Jack fucking Sheppard and to me your nothing" Jack said as Slick passed out and police car's and ambulences surrounded them

"Jack we've got it from here so scram before we arrest you too" a officer said Jack looked at him

"Do yourself a favor make sure that he doesn't wake up or he will kill you" Jack said as he walked off "And you pricks owe me a new phone!" He shouted as he went on his way

"Jack this isn't the end of the evil that hunts the book we could have a little fun of our own and kill more bad guy's" Shadow said to Jack

"Tell me about the book, what is it and how is it your here and he knew about you?" Jack said to the shadow "I need to know everything because I have a funny feeling that Slick's not dead and he'll be back again" Jack added

The shadow sighed "Okay Jack I'll level with you Slick found the book when he was ten year's old, by complete accident I may add too, see like you he murdered his parents because they were incredibly abusive, they locked him in their basement and beat him every day they then left him at an orphanage at five years old, poor guy never had it easy" the shadow said

"Can you show me how he killed them?" Jack asked "because their might be a way to talk sense into him"

The year was 2010 and picked on younge Slick had lost his temper and brutally murdered everyone in the orphanage"

*The incident*

it was half past three in the morning and Slick was crafting a bomb out of a bottle of jack Daniel's he stole from a liquor store the day before

"You prick's are done for I sware down. I've had enough of being the victim to this world's sick twisted game's and when your all dead here my fucking parents are next." Slick said to himself as he crept around the orphanage getting the key's off the mean mistress who ran the building "Awe look at you ima enjoy bludgeoning you to death with this meat tenderizing mallet" Slick said as he proceeded to smack her on her head at full force ripping open her skin and breaking her skull, the blood spurted and her brains spat out on the floor "Woo now that was fun but now I gotta blow up your shitty life's work, not that you can hear me now that your dead you whore" Slick whispered before grabbing the key's and creeping into the kitchen and turning on all of the gas stoves "I wounded how big this explosions going to be? but I can't stick around to watch it sadly, I have two more people to kill and they live in the next town over" He said as he unlocked the front door lighting up the moltiov cocktail and throwing it into the building as far as he could before turning around and running, the cocktail landed and the liquid spread on the floor reaching the kitchen which he had filled with gas, the gas hissed before the kitchen exploded blowing up the orphanage, the children and caretakers ran out of the building engulfed in burning hot flames screaming and some dropping to roll but burning to death in the process

*Present day*

"Okay so then how'd he find the book and what does it actually do?" Jack asked "what's the story behind the book?" he asked the shadow

"I'm getting to that Jack" The shadow said "it was the night of the innicent"

"Mummy, Daddy, I'm home" Slick cackled as he smashed open the window making an entry point

"What the fuck are you doing back here Slick. we left you at that god forsaken orphanage because we didn't want you. your worthless" His dad said

"oh I just thought that I'd pop by and murder you both for what you done to me" He said so calmly that it was eerey "You see I've just murdered an old women with this meat tenderizer and blew up the evidence there's no survivers no witness and I found a gun to use on you both so you can't run and so I can have my fun, I want you both to suffer" Slick said before shooting his mum in the lower spine crippling her for trying to run "A A R, don't be silly mummy, you can't escape me for I am apart of you" Slick said before he shot his farther in the knee cap's "I might make you feel how I felt before tonight first" He said before grabbing his mouthers hair pulling her head backwards "Yeah your the one to die first but don't worry you'll stay alive for a couple more hour's" he whispered in her ear intimidatingly before dragging them both down to the basement that they locked him in all of those year's ago, Slick took a deep breath in "Ahh home sweet home" He said as he chained them to a pipe next to their lit furnace Slick grabbed his mouthers hands and started to break her fingers before using an Axe and cutting off his farthers toes an intch at a time "Now I don't care if you die now or if you bleed to death pop" He said as he took a loose pipe from the furthest corner of the basement "But I don't want you to see what IMA do to your skankey tart of a wife, that's out of respect" He said as he slammed it against his dads head knocking him out "Now mother, you skank, you wanted to abuse me, you scared me badly then you dumped me in that fucking shit hole orphanage without a apology or a good bye, oh now now, don't you cry" Slick said as he licked her tear's off her cheek "I'm not gunna do to you what you done to me, I'm just simply going to show you how sick you've made me, ima watch your flesh slowly melt off your face, then ima end your suffering by taking that sledge hammer and bringing it down on your ugly mug" He said as he dragged her to the furnace and shoved her face into it

"AHHHHHHHHH PLEASE SON STOP I'M SORRY PLEASE DON'T KILL ME" she screamed out as her face melted, Slick pulled her out and watched as her flesh dripped onto the floor and droopped down making her face malform "Now i grow tired of you, your flesh stinks and your even more ugly than before you fat cow, now fucking die" Slick said as he dragged the sledgehamer across the room lifting it up and bringing it down onto her head

making her brains, blood, skin and bones splat against him and the floor "wakey wakey Daddy, your turn to die" Slick said as his farther came back to his sense's

"I hope that you burn in hell Slick, You belong to burn" His farther said

"Tsk tsk tsk, oh farther that's not how you meet your death, but I guess that people never change" Slick said as he slit his dads throat getting even more blood on his clothes and face "Hmm ima need to get cleaned up" Slick said as he opened up his box chest with a book sat in the center of his clothes "Ahh my first book, The necronomicon" Slick said to himself picking up the book "One drop of blood from a rapist, two drops of blood from a witch and three drops of blood from the murderer" He said as he placed blood on the book "Oh dearest book of magic, the sacrifices have been made, I here by decree that your power now runs in my vains" he recited before taking some skin off his parents courses and placed them under the drops of blood "My skin is your vessel for I have lived their skin is my payment for the price of revenge, Farther oh devilish maker grant me the power to kill again" He sang as he danced around the room with the let her bound book

"well that's fucked up, but what's the books story?" Jack asked after hearing about slicks crime

"The book was made by the first of his bloodline the god known as Anubis, he murdered two people a narcasist and a serial killer and used their flesh to bind the book's which he used a preservative to prevent decay off the flesh, the book was given to Slick by his granddad when he died, the last pure blood from his family or so we all thought" The shadow said to Jack "But of course the book was given to you by the pillow man making you the protecter of the book, this book contains more than magic but it also hold evidence to Slicks crime" The shadow said

"So how do I stop Slick?" Jack asked the shadow "You have to claim the books power and use it against him to kill Slick once and for all, you done enough damage to Slick and for that he lays in hospital weak, but you have to murder a narcasist and a serial killer and then hold the exact ritual that the book show's you and you don't have time to procrastinate unless you don't care for human life after all. you are a god, you could let slick live and the world burn or you could kill slick and all you have to do is end the lives of two people" The shadow said as they walked down the street and headed to Jack's car

"Okay I need to go speak to someone then, I need information" Jack said

"yes you do, your old boss" The shadow said as Jack pulled out of park and drove off as the sun set.
