I met someone

The whole way to her house, Amila tried to say something, But every time she opened her lips to say something she ended up closing them, Afraid that she would embarrass herself, So she stayed quiet.

She glanced at the blonde man from the corner of her eyes and noticed that he was carrying the heavy bags in one hand effortlessly. He must be a strong man, She thought to herself.

"Are you from this town?" Amila was curious, She hadn't seen him before.

Jason smiled at her question, Finally, she said something.

"No, I'm a passing trader, But I always come here, To sell my goods." Jason replied and watched as she nodded her head, He noticed that she wanted to ask more questions but they arrived at her house.

"We are here, This is my house." Amila said, pointing to her house.

Jason placed the bags on the ground at the entrance of her house and looked up at her.

"Thank you." Amila said in her usual low voice.

Jason smiled at her and said.

"You are welcome."

Amila watched as the blonde man walked away. A smile appeared on her lips as she watched his figure disappear. She sighed, placing her hand on her heart that was beating fast.

"I forgot to ask him about his name, What a stupid girl you are Amila." She mumbled to herself as she unlocked the door to her house.

...

Later in the evening, Amila decided to go to Lily's house. Her parents were busy talking with her uncle's family and she didn't want to stay at the house.

The whole time during the dinner with her uncle's family, She couldn't stop thinking about that man she met today. Her heart would start to beat faster every time she remembered his voice. She needed to speak with someone about and there is no one better than her best friend.

"Amila, I thought that I would not be able to come tonight." Lily said as she urged her friend to come inside.

"I didn't want to stay at home." She replied as she entered.

Amila greeted Lily's mother first before they walked towards Lily's room.

"So, How was the dinner with your uncle's family?"Lily asked as they sat down on the bed.

"Good Enough about the dinner," Amila replied." I met someone today at the market."

Lily placed her right leg on the bed, curious to hear more.

"And, What happened?" She asked.

Amila blushed remembering the man's beautiful facial features.

"H- He helped me to carry the bags from the market to the house, We didn't talk much and I forgot to ask him about his name." Amila replied feeling sad.

"Did he tell you anything about himself? Like, is he from here or not?" Lily asked.

Amila remembered him telling her that he is a passing trader, And nothing more.

"He said that he is a passing trader, Oh yes, He said that he always comes here to sell his goods." She said,

"That's it, If he come here always, Then you will be able to see him again, So I need to be sad." Lily said, trying to comfort her friend.
