Dark room

Lily saw the masked man take a step towards and she took a step back out of reflex. She hadn't forgotten what he did the last time. She had started to think about running but she dropped that Idea when she heard his words.

"I'm not going to hurt you." Adonis said, His deep voice made her stand rooted to the ground.

Lily watched as he took one last step towards her, closing the distance between them. She could see his wooden mask close to her face. She had a feeling that he was peering down at her right now since she was short compared to him.

"You lied, I can tell by the way you walk, But you should know, What happened to you was your fault." Adonis spoke and heard the skip of the beat of her heart.

"I'm not lying, And how can you say it's my fault, You are the one who threw me against the tree." Lily snapped, feeling angry by his words.

She was about to walk away and leave him but he caught her wrist, Not with too much force but just enough to make her stay.

Adoni's other hand went behind her back, The middle of her back, and pressed lightly the place where the injury was only for her to whine in pain.

"That hurts." Lily said through gritted teeth as she tried to push him off her but she couldn't, He was way stronger than her.

"Good, If it hurts, Then you shouldn't have lied." Adonis said as he wrapped his arms around her and disappeared from there.

Lily didn't know what happened until she found herself in a dark room, A bedroom, To be precise.

"Wh... where did you take and how did this happen?" Lily asked, speechless.

Adonis took a step away from her and suddenly the dark room was lit up by the candles.

"What is this? Did you bring me here to kill me? Please don't do that." Lily pleaded, Scared of being killed.

Adonis wanted to laugh seeing the look of fear on her face right now. He wondered what happened to the girl who approached him in the forest on her own a minute ago.

"I didn't bring you here to kill you, If I wanted to do that, I would have done it in the forest." Adonis replied.

Lily sighed in relief hearing his words, But why did he bring her here?.

"Why did you bring me here then?" She asked, looking around them.

"To heal your injury and to talk about the letter you left on the gate entrance." Adonis replied as he drew the currents open hoping it would make her less scared.

It's been a long time since he had an interaction with humans, Let alone a female.

Heal her injury?

So what she read in the books was right, There is a chance for Amila to live.

"No need to heal my injury, It will heal on its own, Let's speak about the letter, Did you read it?" She asked and watched as he leaned his back against the window.
