Chapter 37 A Happy Time Together

"Elisa"? The duke who opened the door said looking at elisa surprised "f father i didn't know you were here" elisa said 'phew i thought it was an intruder good thing it was him' elisa thought by sighing "what are you doing here" she said as she approached the duke

"ah i just wanted to rest for a bit, but it's okay now since your here too" the duke said by fully entering the room "it's been a while since i last came here looks like you were cleaning here" the duke said by looking at elisa's hand she was holding a dusty book

"oh that yeah i thought to clean this place since i got bored" 'that's a lie' elisa thought "i see do you need a hand" the duke said by smiling at elisa "um sure i guess haha" she was a bit confused 'why the hell is he here right now and here i thought that i can rest a bit' elisa thought by sighing

they both cleaned the room for one hour and finally rested "phew that was so much harder than i expected" elisa who was resting in a chair said by rubbing her hair by her hands "i know i don't think you could have done this alone" the duke said by rubbing his sweat by a towel

suddenly a growl came out of elisa's stomach "oh your hungry aren't you" the duke said by chuckling 'argh so embarrassing' elisa thought as her face was turning red "It's nothing to be embarrassed about then shall we go to dinning hall and eat something" the duke said by patting elisa

"ok" elisa quietly said the duke could she how embarrassed she really is. he chuckled as he saw how cute his daughter is they went to the dinning hall with empty stomach it was nighttime the food was served in front of them elisa used her fork and ate her grilled meat

"is it tasty" the duke asked as he saw his daughter eating delightfully "yes" elisa replied "why are you not eating anything father" elisa asked "ah yes i will eat now" the duke said as he ate his meat they both enjoyed their dinner "you were not there for today's family dinner" the duke asked as he was eating his salad

"Ah i fell asleep that i was unable to attend it sorry" elisa replied after stopping eating "i see well it's ok i don't think we could get another time to eat like this" the duke said by staring at his salad 'so that was it i was thinking why he was weird today i guess he is going to miss me'

Elisa thought "oh if possible why don't we all eat together tomorrow" elisa asked "w what"? The duke looked at elisa surprised "what it's not impossible right"? Elisa said as she was enjoying her desert "no, it's not" the duke said by warmly smiling

'what the hell i didn't expect him to be this happy' elisa thought by looking at the duke's expression "hey can i ask you a question" elisa said "yes go ahead" the duke said by wiping his face "do you miss her" elisa said by looking at the duke's seriously

"ah yes i do i miss her like anything else" the duke said his face was a bit sad "what about you" the duke asked by looking at elisa "is that even a question" elisa replied "well yeah" the duke said by covering his mouth

after that they both talked about nothing it was a bit awkward but after finishing their desert they both went to sleep "hehe" the duke who was in his office chuckled a bit ruke who was next to him noticed it "your grace looks a bit happier today" ruke pointed out "of course Lisa said that we could have another dinner today i am so happy" the duke smiled and replied "he calls the young lady Lisa in here and talks cold to her outside what a weird man" the ruke thought by smiling
