CHAPTER 28

"I'll just sleep on the sofa." Ashton said while we were eating dinner. It's just five in the afternoon but we need to sleep so that we can wake up early tomorrow and enjoy our last stay here.

"Why are you gonna sleep on the sofa if-" I stopped and averted my eyes because of the playful smile posted on his lips. I sneezed and started arranging our meal.

I looked at him again and saw that the corner of his lip was still raised. "Why would you sleep on the sofa if you could put a comforter on the side of the bed?" I said and smiled at him.

Suddenly his smile faded and his lips parted as he looked at me. "You won't let me sleep next to you?"

I laughed and shook. "Of course not."

He frowned even more and took our meal from me. "I'll do the washing." I just nodded even though I wondered if he knew how to wash the dishes. After all, he wouldn't insisted to clean up if he didn't know what to do.
