Chapter 14: Halloween Party

As I walked into Drama, I took my seat, class flew by, I talked to Trevor as little as possible. When the bell rang, Landon was waiting for me in the hall, we left together and went home. The days blended until it was finally Halloween, I had gotten a sexy nurse outfit for the party, I also didn’t feel to great, I brushed it off as Landon and I got ready for school. After we got ready we took off for school, we parked and got out.

We walked into school, we went to Landon’s locker and he grabbed his books, then he walked me to class, kiss me goodbye and headed to class. I walked in and sat next Tanner, and said hello to them, then the teacher walked in and class began. Before we knew what class was over and we’re heading to gym, we all left together and walk together, once we got there we each one to the different locker rooms. I walked in put my stuff in and empty locker, that I change for class, then I went out, and sat next to Tanner and Greyson, before I knew it class began and we were stretching, then we did our normal laps around the gym, then we played some weird game today and do them but I don’t really want to talk about.

Once the bell rang I went and showered, changed, grab my stuff and headed to my next class. When I walked in, I went and sat next to my boyfriend Landon, he smiled at me and I smile back, we said hello to each other, then the teacher walked in. Class began it was over before we knew it yet again, the days seem to just fly by, ever since my bullies left me alone and became my friends, things are much better. The only thing I hated most, was my last three classes with Trevor, he still tried to play so innocent, and so sorry and I was so sick of listening to it that I just tuned him out.

Then it was time for lunch, we grabbed our stuff and went to get food, once there we grabbed lunch, walked to our table, sat and ate, laughing as usual, I felt Trevor staring as usual, also Macy seemed to be acting weird today. She wasn’t talking to anyone, but I honestly really didn’t care I was still mad at her for sleeping Trevor. I don’t think she’d ever get my forgiveness but who knows, only if she really does truly change her she ever get any type of friendship from me.

Soon lunch was over, Landon walked me to class and kissed me goodbye, then he headed off to his class I sat far away from Trevor as always, class begin it was over before I knew it, walk to the next class the next class was the same, then it was time for drama class the class I hated most right now, only until this play was done and over with. I don’t think I could ever partner with Trevor again for a play, only if I had to, I love that class until he ruined it for me, he really destroyed the last three classes, I kind of wish I could have switched glasses but it’s too late, since the school year already started if they don’t switch classes. Let’s just hope that next year, I don’t have any classes with Trevor and I have more with Landon, I don’t think I can go through another year dealing with Trevor, is bad enough he’s my neighbor, even though I’m not even staying at home because of him.

I sat and waited for the teacher to come in, then we all headed to the auditorium, did a run-through for the play, practice some more, then the bell rang for the end of school, Landon was outside the auditorium waiting for me, I grab my stuff and let him outside the doors, then we headed to his truck, he unlocked it, we got in, shut our doors, I placed my backpack on the floor by my feet, Landon put his backpack in the backseat, then he started his truck, we put our seatbelts on, then he drove towards his house.

Once there he parked his truck, shut his truck off, we got their backpacks and got out, we shut the doors, he locked his truck up, then we headed to his front door, he unlocked it, and we walked in. He closed the door behind us, his dad wasn’t home yet, his dad probably was still with that hooker, not that I really care nor did I, it was nice to have the house to ourselves still. We went upstairs and started our homework, after we finished, we went downstairs and made some dinner, ate, put our dishes away, then went upstairs to shower, had sex, then got ready for the Halloween party, then we left the house, he locked up, we got in his truck, and we headed to Natalia’s house.

Once you got there he parked, got out and headed inside. Natalia greeted us when we walk through the door, I smiled at her, we walked to the kitchen, she poured us some of the special punch she made, I took the cup and took a sip, I looked at Landon smiling, he held my hand and drank his drink,

“Lucy, you okay?” He asks.

I nod, “Yeah why?”

“You’re quiet babe, ” he kisses my cheek.

“Sorry, I’m just a little tired, ” I smiled at him as he kissed my cheek.

“Babe, don’t be sorry, let’s have some fun okay?” He replies.

I nod, “Okay, ” I finish my drink and we get another.

We end up on the dance floor, drunk dancing to whatever was playing, we were having fun, he had dressed up like Rick Grimes, and I was his sexy nurse, my fun was short lived when Trevor approached us, I looked at Landon, he looked back, Trevor spoke,

“Lucy, it was a mistake, I never meant to sleep wi-”

I didn’t let him finish, I just punched him in the face, then talked off, I went into the bathroom locking the door, not even letting Landon in, who was now knocking,

“Baby, let me in please,” Landon says.

I don’t say anything, I feel sick, I walk over to the toilet pulling my hair back and getting sick, after I finished, I got up washed my face and mouth out, I dried my face, shaking a little,

“Luce, let me in your sick I want to help,” Landon’s voice says.

I still say nothing, tears sliding down my face, I was drunk and a mess, I wanted to be alone, oddly it was crazy usually I wanted Landon, but Trevor fucking hit that nerve yet again, hurting me, this time it made me sick, I couldn’t do this anymore, I got up , opened the door and looked at Landon , then walked towards Trevor,

Once I got to him, I looked at him,

“Stop telling me you’re sorry, I won’t forgive you, you don’t deserve it, not with how I felt about you, you fucking destroyed me you asshole, I hope you feel my pain, you deserve to, you did the one thing no guy should do to a girl, cheat, and lie. You promised me, nothing would happen, then you fuck up and fuck Macy. The one girl you swore you never would ever give the time of day, you fucking liar, you also failed to tell me you were going with her family away on that trip, you suck, you are stupid to, I loved you Trevor, I did for so long, I was going to tell you, but you made me hate you, I fucking hate you and don’t want you to speak to me unless it’s for classes, other than that fuck off Trevor,” I say, everyone around us stopping, staring at us, surprised.

Landon had walked up as I was talking, he grabbed my hand pulling me towards him, away from Trevor, the anger showing on my face, Tanner and Greyson were walking behind us as Landon pulled me up the stairs, away from the party, he leads us to my room, opening the door the 4 of us walk in, I sit on my bed, looking at my former bullies, they all looked impressed,

“Damn Luce, you loved him?” Tanner said, looking at me.

I nodded,“He saved my life, then smacked me in the face, funny ain’t it?”

Tanner shook his head, “No, he’s a scumbag,” he walked to me and hugged me.

Greyson looked at me, “Lucy, you are so strong.”

I smile at him, “Thanks, Greyson.”

He smiled back, “Anytime,” he walked over and hugged me.

Landon walked over, sitting next to me, he turned me to face him,

“Babe, that was amazing, you need to keep expressing your feelings, don’t bottle them up, please, I don’t want you to hide them and end up killing yourself again, I’ll be damned if I let you die.” He kissed me, with some passion not caring his friends were there, he pulled me onto his lap.

I smiled in our kiss, as I kissed back wrapping my arms around his neck, Greyson and Tanner smiled. Once we pulled away, we headed back to the party. The 4 of us, drank more, danced some, then at some point we all crashed in my room, they crashed on the air mattress and futon, Landon and I on my bed.

We all sleep through the night and into the afternoon, none of us stopped partying until 3:30am, we all drank a lot too, so we were also drunk, when we woke up at 1:30pm, my head was pounding so hard, I looked around the boys all just waking up too. They all looked hungover as fuck, I looked at Landon, he looked how I felt, like hell.

He pulled me to him, kissing me softly, then kissing my forehead, “I’ll go get you some aspirin and water,” he gets up.
